There is a Utilikilt Store a block away from where I work in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle (oldtown). I had a hunch so I just looked up their company website, and lo and behold that is the ONLY store! I had no idea... no wonder I see so many dudes walking around these parts wearing them. What I find amusing is that 99 out of 100 times they are also wearing tall wool socks and big boots. It's like the new grunge. There are several people on here who wear them... if anyone wants to save on shipping, choose your style and size (or is it one size fits all?) and I'll send it at regular USPS cost in exchange for a can of snus. I'm not kidding, I walk past the store every day. Never been inside.

You should be more worried about the top half having enough material to cover your breasts.

How did I miss this the first time through? I have a few kilts. Three Utilikilts, and one Amerikilt. I prefer the Utilikilts by far. Anyone who goes out and moves should give them a try. They're the best active wear bar none.

@ Getter - Made by the hands of Celtic maidens...nice

I prefer the hands of Celtic maidens to do other things...and me wife is from Ireland. heh heh heh...she couldn't iron a pleat like that if her life depended on it...and wearing one of those in New England would get you frostbite on your little wee wee in February.

I want to give you a hard time about the skirt...but you do look pretty manly.
Wicked, I thought you were kidding until I clicked on the thumbnail
(even then my eyesight's not like it used to be --- but then nothing else is either!).

After some stealthy sleuthing I found out you'd better not call it a skirt
if ya know what's good fer ya:

Wonder how utilitarian they would be during a Myassachusetts winter? Bloody stiff, maybe?

I'll just keep googling and see if there are any retailers up this way.

Yea I know Snusdog, the Tri-Corn gets confused
with a pirate hat. I guess I can use it for my Pirate Bay
    Torrent Hat too.

Now do I dare direct you to a web site I started?

No. That's me in the Tea Party hat. I was at the site of
a Clearcut. I have the entire 10 minute piece from 60 Minutes.
I got these snapshots using Media Player Classic or VLC.

I have more gray in my beard now.

Remember where I'm from, my location? .

I can take a pic of the hat for proof when I get around to it.

I forgot to tell you all that I once networked with the Militia/Patriot
crowd. I still do somewhat. We thought we could combine forces
in opposing the War on Drugs. That's why I know something
about the holocaust revision stuff. I once looked at it myself.

You have to admit my Tri-corn hat doesn't look like the typical
tree hugger. Some of them thought I was too right wing.

Besides, I never heard of Tommy Chong getting busted in the woods.
