Hell yeah Snuffy, sounds like the first package is going to knock their socks off. I'm headed to my buddy's house in a couple hours for dinner so I'll be sure to get that colonel's address and make sure he distributes all these goodies heavy-handedly amongst his troops in Afghanistan. The funniest part about this box is going to be when the colonel receives it and doesn't distribute any of it. He's going to be like "wtf, im' not going to leave the air conditioned building to go help out the privates, MY SNUS suckas."

You wanna see sad? This video was taken in a happy environment. You should see the scene when everyone is boarding the plane for deployment, dude's little kids holding on for so long that they have to be physically removed so everyone can make formation in time. Kids knowing that it might be the last time they hug their daddy. Saddest shit you'll ever see if you entire life. F*ck now i'm crying too.

I wish everyone could experience the vibe going around the few minutes right before everyone deploys. Everyone is trying to be happy and patriotic and shit but it's just that last 10 minutes right before everyone gets on the bus that the reality of it sinks in. Where people families know they have to wait 15 months to find out if they will get to see their solider again, and for the next year they sit and wait every day praying that they don't get that dreaded knock on their door, with officers arriving to give bad news.

To all my fallen teammates I dedicate some thunder frosted to this box, but unfortunately I cannot afford it for another paycheck. Hopefully this GI box will be an ongoing project so I can give my fair share.

Just be aware of how far removed the colonel is from the actual privates etc. I only saw mine in passing or when they were giving some drawn out speech or briefing. Usually higher ups don't care to do shit like hand out mail. You'd be better sending it to one of the Sgt's somewhere who's in charge of a fire-team. Most likely the colonel will get it and pass it off to the first Sgt he sees > That sgt in turn will likely loot all the good stuff and then give the rest of the crap just to his team members and no one else.

YEAH DUDES!!! I received the first donations today, one from Snuffy, the other from Bigblue1. I also received a "failure to deliver" notice for a 3rd package... I'm not sure who it's from yet, but I'll have to sign the slip and tape it to my door for it to be left out front in 2 days. I can't make it to the post office near my apartment between working hours.

Let me just say that I am absolutely astounded at the generosity thus far. From 2 packages we have TWENTY FIVE full, unopened, beautiful cans of precious snus. And like 4 prismasters, a bunch of General samples, and Bigblue1 threw in a very significant snuff stash. And dollars! Speaking of which, contrary to PP's thoughtful addition to my post, please don't send me money from now on. The dollars I received will already pay for almost half of the cost to ship, and it's not much to begin with (the shipping). Thoughtful as hell, but not necessary.

I'm headed over to my buddy's in a minute, and at the rate this stuff is coming in (after only having seen 2 out of 3 donations that arrived), I propose that I send at least 2 boxes to Afghanistan, maybe 3. I'm going to get multiple addresses, and make sure some regular Joes are direct recipients, not just this colonel.

You guys F±€»ng RULE. Thank you so much. I am still just blown away at the 2 packages I just opened upon getting home from work. These guys will feel the same way x10 because it will be an unsolicited, unexpected act of pure generosity. This has me super exited. Thanks Snuffy and Bigblue1 and the sender of the 3rd mystery package and EVERYONE else who responded! Hell yeah.


Edit: oh yeah of course I will be adding my own stash too lol, I didn't just ask you guys to make all of the donations. I will definitely take some pics before I load up the first/each box. This is so rad.
