I said we didn't want to see the ugliness again which I think would be agreed to by most. My issue isn't the politics per se, but the attacks that seem to follow when SOME people talk about it.

Yes, we have had a number of threads that dealt with politics that were fine, I have no issues. But we have had a few that got very ugly, that cost us members who left because of them.

Xobe left in large part because of that kind of crap.

Just a little clarification. The people that label things as conspiracy theory are not necessarily knowingly feeding the meme or are even aware of it. I just want everyone to be aware. If I am lumped into the conspiracy theory or theorists then I guess I am willing to take the bullet. But, then as you said I guess I will just be ignored along with the fringe theorists.

I believe knowledge is power so I have to believe that knowledge can prevail over any meme if there is enough of it.

Bigblue, please let's try and pull back a bit. I was NOT attacking you, I was attacking the ideas in that video, and HUGE difference and I was attacking the folks who are promoting it. NOT you for posting the link.

It is a fine line perhaps, but a really big point. Allow us to say anything about ideas, But that doesn't mean we are demeaning the person who posts them. Besides, you yourself didn't say you bought into it, only brought it to our attention because you thought it was interesting.

Anyways, I am sorry if I came off wrong, just felt a little attacked. But I don't want to go there. Let's just agree to disagree about this particular topic, but know in snus, we all come back together again. Fair enough
