I have been having a similar debate with my wife. She is dead set against me getting a bike, and the debate has happened a lot more frequently lately. I got a buddy that has an old school 83 honda, a new yamaha, and a scooter, and it has been tempting me for a while, especially every time I hang with my homie. I ended up telling her that if I want to get one, I will get one...that went over like a fart in church. I will just have to accept that if I get one, I will have to put up with the worrying from her, and it doesn't make it any better that we are trying to have a baby. I feel your pain man.

          ROFL

I'm going to use that one.

In some cell phone forum somewhere girls are talking about men having "testosterone poisoning", without a doubt.

            WTF?
Is this about what her family and other people think or what she thinks?

You are not married to her family. I live in Florida and there are tons of married guys on motorcycles here. Hell we even have married women on motorcycles here.

You get to pick only two. :P

Similar to this one, when choosing a wife, you get to pick only two of these:

              hot
              smart
              sane

Tell me it's not at least approximately true.

Sir I would like to subscribe to your newsletter! lol well lets see looks like I am a father and a husband, hmm so not a man, my wife is hot and smart, which of course leaves out sane... DOH!!!!

Let's follow the time line here.

You bought the bike a couple of months ago and you have a 2 month old daughter.
Did you run out and buy the bike while your wife was in labor?

                  If not, keep the bike.

On the other hand if you were out bike shopping while your wife was giving birth it might be a good idea to get rid of it.

lol, no it was like 2 weeks before she was born or something, although that would have been much more fun shopping for a bike than watching the grotesque horror of a woman giving birth. I kid I kid, it was beautifull, in a bloody sort of way...?
