Thanks. I really do love it. I haven't had much luck finding it lately, either. But I'm going to start looking harder. When I find it, I'm going to show it to my local store, which does carry other products from the same maker.

That Mae Ploy is not like a standard western hot sauce, it's sweet, and has red pepper flakes in it. It's very good with eggrolls, and on top of chinese dishes.

Hey Tom, it might sound weird but the Mae Ploy makes a great salad dressing too when you're looking for something different or having a salad with Asian foods.

I'm a big Crystal/Louisiana fan, not so big on Tabasco anymore but they're all acceptable. For an Asian hot sauce I really like this stuff:

It is the most common Indonesian sauce export. ABC is a shit-ton better than Siracha, being slightly sweet with a very nice kick. it's zesty enough to be its own sauce with some rice for a side dish.

Been looking for FRANKS extra hot but cannot find it anywhere.

Settled on Red Devil cayenne which I have been very happy with. Good flavor and much less of that lingering heat like Tobasco.

I actually love the taste of the Taco Bell mild. I buy bottles of it and use it for flavor.

One of my favourite pepper sauces is one that I've had in Barbados. It's called Neville A. Edwards Pepper Sauce, it comes in plastic bottles, with a home printed label. It looks like some guy just makes it at home and sells it. Whenever I got to Barbados to visit my in-laws I always have to bring a couple of bottles of home, because I don't think you can get it outside of the island.

Is the yellow stuff a mustard and pepper sauce?

The Caribbean groceries around here have a mustard and chili pepper sauce that is fantastic.

I am really hoping that this thread does not get me into some foreign hot sauce that is expensive, needs to be ordered over the internet because it's hard to find and can only be shipped by UPS.
