Y'know it obviously takes a seriously disturbed person to commit such an act. In most cases someone can drum up things that look like god reason to believe that the person who behaved like this had the tell-tale signs that he/she would do such a thing. You'd have every special interest group from here to eternity jumping down your throat if the tables were turned and people started pro-actively treating someone differently because of suspicion that they might do something terrible. Then you've got to bring some sort of profiling into it. Although I see the problems with society behaving in a pro-active way in cases like this it does make sense. I think videos like this are complete BS. That being said it hasn't finished yet...I think I got about a third of the way through. Talk about what would have prevented it. A national ID card? Someone not asleep at the switch at a store? The media itself? No. They talk about a poetry class here with a guy that wears friggin' nail polish. This is crap. Sorry, Joe...but it's complete crap.

My first thought was that this purple haired dude was a little "off" for having purple hair, lol.


Also, they keep showing that 1 picture of Loughner looking all crazy, but in every other picture the guy looks normal. Kind of a dick move to be showing the one psycho looking pic of him.

My nails are purple, by the way. I have them painted that color because my attire when I perform as my wrestling character is silver, black, and purple.

Also - if you could NOT care less...how did this thread come to exist? And why does it end with the phrase it ends with?
