I love snus, and snus makes my whole day better, but $150 a month is kind of expensive for me. I may buy something if there is a bargain but after I finish these last few rolls in my freezer, I may try to quit all together.
A habit is a habit and most of the times it costs moneyz :-)

$150 is worth it if it makes your life better, ain't it ? :-)

          Bud Light 30 pack

Am I the only one who lives in a state where they sell 30 beers at a time? lol In that case, my alcoholism is the liberals fault. (I knew it)

WHAT!? A thirty pack of Budlight, never seen these around Ohio, just thirty packs for busch and natilight. (cheap beer) Thats a bunch of BS!!!

Too much of anything is bad, but that doesn't mean we should ban it. Even too much water can be bad for you.
Please note I do specifically say I am not calling for a new era of prohibition, as in banning it. Just that there seems an accepted binge drinking paradigm in our society.

Alcohol killed my dad. He was an alcoholic with Hepatitis C. He still continued to drink despite going to the hospital numerous times for liver problems. Liver cancer finally got him. I have no issues with drinking, I'm not addicted to it. (Hell, I have a huge hangover from last night right now) I agree it's way worse than smoking pot, but as long as you're responsible with it, there shouldn't be a problem.

Must admit - I never liked pot and I agree it's safer. I'd rather have a drink though. I love my beer and I'm thankful I don't like spirits.

All this talk about drinking reminds me I have to go out and get shitfaced. I haven't been pissed since I left the army 8 years ago.

When I did drink I was partial to beer, whiskey and bourbon.

To be honest it is totally worth it. Snus makes my whole day better. That's hard to buy with money or anything else!

But devillock is right. Drinking has become very accepted (if not mandatory) in many parts of society, and not just drinking, but super binge drinking. I drank as much as I did when i was younger because I just figured that's what everyone did at that age and so it must obviously work out somehow in the end. Now that I become more aware of how easy it is to get cirrosis and liver cancer, it makes me you look at it different. I think most adults are like that (less drinking as they get older), but the problem is we do so much damage to our bodies when we are kids that sometimes it can affect us as we get older.

My two hated drinks - bourbon and whiskey. I cannot stand the stuff.

I particularly like high quality Irish Whiskey, well higher. I would on occasion grab a nice bottle of Jameson 1780 blend, sealed with wax and a cork. When I had this in the house I shared but I told people the rule was only three things may touch that whiskey, glass, ice, and your lips. If you even suggested mixing it with coke or something you could leave.

                            Seems like another life ago.

Sorry to hear that about your dad...

Several relatives of mine died of liver cancer, including one of my grandfathers ..

The hospitals are full of people with hepatitis C, you can see them by their huge abdomens... and it's only due to alcohol.

Precious you say some of the least fact based things on this site I've encountered. Hep C is an infectious disease caused by a virus and spread by blood to blood contact. It most certainly is not caused by drinking.
