    Jimmy -

Would it not be easier to sell your los in bulk? Less can usage, less labels, and easier to package.

Like Snus2 does with their tubs. You don't even have to label it, just write on top of it, "Jimmy's Special Blend" or some shit.

    ^like this, simple.

The flavor of Gotlandssnus products have always been in the region of odd products with alot of flavors and non tradtional taste such as General or ettan or skruf and so on..

New products will be launched i promise you but loose snus for us is not the direction for the future

I never did get to try any Gotlandssnus lös, just got to look at the pretty pictures of the cans on their website (still there) and hear tales of its awesomeness.

Oh well. I'll go throw my money at GN.

Jimmy, I will always respect your skill as a snus maker and a blender of flavor that made me content...and your ability to take our shit when you bring us the tough news...well, at least that part is over.
I to have been doing more and more snuff. It's not my first choice but it does work as I have already cut my snus use by 1/3.

I'm still on the Ettan/Grovsnus//Skruf marry-go-round but I'm not a happy camper. It just doesn't compete with the gul/gellivare of the past. At this point I have little hope of anything good happening in the snus world for grown ups. It's either candy or massive amounts of nicotine. Even the few grown up flavored snus I liked are gone with the demise of Coffee Supreme and Brandy Alexander.

What's next on the agenda. Perhaps strawberry banana milk shake extra stark.......

I don't get it when Jako's ice fruit and melon is on the market but gul los is not. I'm trying to grasp the significants of that and it's not a pretty picture.

Awesome, with Gotlands now all I have for Los choices are the typical mundane or ridiculously strong choices.

Not a good time to enjoy Los it seems. Unreal how many Los brands have gone down the drain since I started using snus.

I'm not Jimmy, but I'll throw in my 2¢... I think it comes down purely to economics, and prioritizing resources. Lössnus just isn't a big seller, and is a declining market. I'd equate lössnus with unfiltered cigarettes in the 80s. Used by old timers, and cigarette aficionados, but on the steady decline. That's why I keep pushing for special releases. That'll keep the aficionados happy, won't waste machine time, and most importantly will continue the long history of traditional Swedish snus. You hosers have to get on board though. A special release is special. You need to get it while you can, and stick it in the freezer. That might mean coming up with a couple hundred dollars at a time, but it's an investment in the future. Snus always appreciates in value, so your $200 today, may be worth $250 next year. By supporting a release like that it adds value to the snus company, so they do it again next year, and hedges against inflation.
    thx lx.

The grey was always my least favourite - the flavour was ANISEED and not much else. I'm not such a fan of aniseed so naturally I didn't enjoy it.

The skills that Jimmy and the Gotlandssnus team were able to come up with ... especially the Gul/Yellow was pure craftsmanship. And the sample of smokey cinnamon that Jimmy kindly sent to me a few months back was amazing and complex.

Ultimately I think we can expect a whole lot more of this kind of development in snus lines and marketing. The expanding market seems to be the USA and it's very obvious that there is no room for complex adult flavours. I've kicked Jimmy enough for his company's initiatives to conquer the new snus world (which are fairly simple no-brainers for people in the business of selling snus).

This trend on top of the EU snus ban is the reason I have decided to stop trying to buy any more snus (unless I happen to be visiting Sweden) - instead I will make my own and continue to try and perfect the "grown-up" flavours that I enjoy in splendid isolation.

    +1

I actually noticed the promoter girls that walk around the malls and shops, they promote the NEWEST FILTERED CIGARETTES as the safest cigarettes on earth.

Some of them go on explaining about the newest filter technology and s*it lol

either filtered or non-filtered cigarette smoking isn't safe at all.

Yeah it doesn't matter how hard some of us beat off to Gotlands Gul, what matters to Jimmy is whether or not they are making money. If the Swedes don't like it anymore then it is their obligation to sell what sells. Even if the members of snuson buy 100 rolls in 2013, after the overhead that equates to almost nothing; a few days' pay if that. I agree that it should be a seasonal release though, and I mostly refer to the Gul here. What's the harm in that Jimmy? Put your gear to work on some Gul for one week out of the year and see what happens.
