You hold it down, the position is such that it becomes second nature. Manual is also better if you are going to keep it in your pocket as the automatic sometimes trigger based on things like wind.

I don't know... The button is positioned a little too high.

They say that with the automatic, you just need to take a 'starter draw' from a cold start to get the atomizer warmed up, and then you can enjoy it like you would a regular smoke. The automatic sounds more 'convenient' to me. But that's just my initial impression. I have yet to try one of these things.

But what if the button presses up against something (such as keys or your wallet) while it's in your pants?

MANY! Google and ye shall find. What I did was I went and looked for vendors that were in my state to cut down shipping time. I order from MadVapes as they are in NC. There are lists of E-cig suppliers by state and if you don't find one you like in your state expand your search.

Well there are many kinds of e-cigs. There are the small ones where you need to push the button down, and the small ones wich you just need to inhale. Same thing with the big ones. But remember, the bigger, the better the e-cig is. I got a little shit and you could smoke like only 1-2 hours from it, and then recharge. But then when i got the big one, i could smoke for days without having to recharge it.. :P

What should I google, I don't want to hit up a place that's fly by night or has issues with shipping or not shipping after I pay. Thanks.

Two reputable places I know of (and used myself when I used an e-cig) are:

                http://www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com/

Like I first said try searching for those in your state. Next you can cross check it against e-cigarette-forum.com to see if anyone has had issues with them.

skimo, i have been vaping for well over a year now and the best advice i can give you is to go on e-cigarette-forum.com.
at the bottom of the forum there is a list of vendors. anyone of these vendors is legit and fair to deal with. if you buy from a vendor that is not on the forum then you are taking a chance. also, i recommend buying either a kr808d1 kit, or a 510 kit to get started. once you learn a little more about vaping you can get into the bigger battery mods. there is a huge learning curve so go on ecf and research, because if you dont, you could spend alot of money on junk.

510 or maybe Ego. I started with and still use my Ego, in short I wanted good battery life.

the ego is decent, but i find that it is too low in voltage for me. i just think it is better for someone to start with something simple like the kr808d1 (atomizers can be a pain).

Well compared to the 510 it offers better battery life. Getting into LR atty's is another matter.

Despite the syringe filling hassle I have become a big fan of clearomizers. I find them to be the best experience vs convenience solution yet.
