Pact Act doubles Toque US sales.

We at Toque have obviously been monitoring sales to the USA very closely since July and rather surprisingly can report that our sales to the US have more than doubled in the last 3 months.

We have not had one single shipment stopped nor had one customer inconvenienced, even though we declare the contents on every package, have the words Toque Tobacco Ltd on the franking strip and include the tax code tariff on the customs declaration.

I was worried how the small tobacconists would fare, however I have heard that sales of cigars by mail order have also more than doubled and in some cases tripled in the USA. I hope this has helped in some way to keep these little guys in business.

I should also add snuson orders must have helped up our sales, thanks guys!

I happy to see sales are doing so well. You worked hard and deserve it bud.

......now when do you plan on introducing the new "PP's Choice Cranberry" snuff?

          Congratulations Roderick!

Do you think it's PACT related where people are choosing Toque over other choices due to ease of access, or an increase in nasal snuff use in general.

            It must be Divine Intervention!

I would hope that it's both. PACT has made many smokeless tobaccos unobtainable except at B+M retail, and cigarettes are now ridiculously and(in some cases)prohibitively expensive in most States.

And, congrats Roderick! Good to hear this. Once more people over here get a taste of Xmas Pudding, I'm guessing you'll see sales double again.

My initial order of Xmas Pudding 10g tins was 3 ... I just ordered 4 more
and I may get more before the end of the run. This is a treat that can be
                savored year-round.

There was some concern of maintaining their freshness; they're all going in
their own Ziplok vacuum-sealed bag since oxygen is the bane of freshness!!
That should help them stay fresh for quite a while.

I decided to stick with the 10g tins so only that amount, when opened, would
have to contend with the ravages of oxygen.

Hey Roderick are there any plans for US B&M distribution, or is that currently impeded by FDA requirements? Or do you think it's not economical to pursue yet?
