A quick google search turned up the release dates.

Red Blend will be releasing first something in August 2010.
Apple Blend will be releasing beginning of September 2010.
Orange Blend will be releasing beginning of October 2010.

I got some Red man straight and Kodiak wintergreen. Have to say that Kodiak has propably the best wintergreen flavor I've tryed now. It definitely has better wintergreen flavor and doesn't have that artificial taste than some others. I think Red man straight wasn't nothing special but it tastes different than other straight dips I've tryed.

I bought some Redman Straight LC a few weeks back and thought it was pretty good.

Has kind of Root Beer taste to me.

I picked up a can of Skoal Cherry LC tonight.

It's okay. Smells a little better than it tastes, though.

Feels like it would be a great beginner dip.

I'm still thinking I would not like the fruity dips, so I haven't tried any, well, I did try Timber Wolf Peach, which has it's fans, but I did not like it. I've been dipping Skoal Straight LC the last few days, along with Grizzly Natural LC.

I was off of dip or any american tobacco products for about a solid year; Now I've struck up a love affair with chew, which I hadn't used for like 3 years. The red man just kept staring at me when I went to the store.

Red man original is great, but very very sweet. Someone suggested Levi Garret. It tastes less sweet, has a wierd fruity flavor and is a bit more dry. This might because it's old, I wouldn't know since they don't print dates on the bags or anything. I have about 1-3 chews daily, esspecially if I'm outdoors.

My next move is to buy some days work plug, since it's a bit less sweet. Strangely enough, that was the first tobacco product I ever tried. I wanted to try it because of a show on discovery caleld "going native" where one south american tribe was chewing massive amounts of tobacco all the time(reminds me of the beavis and butthead episode where they go flying a kite in a storm because of a documentary on ben franklin ) I remember it was way, way too intense the first time and I threw it out. Later on, after trying some dip and chew, I thought it was good and finished a couple packs. there's an "apple" flavor too.

I like chew alot better than dip. Just worried about cavities

I've actually got some Redman plug in the fridge right now. A plug lasts me usually 2-3 weeks as I only use it when I'm working outside, fishing, grilling, etc..

I'm not sure which I like better, Levi plug or Redman plug. They are both really good. I didn't care much for the Days Work, kind of a strange underlying flavor going on and it doesn't come in a pouch, just some cheap cellophane like a package of crackers.

If Days Work was considerably cheaper than the others I might use it, but at my smoke shop all chew brands are the same price, about 5.25.

With chew, tooth decay is a greater threat than cancer. So I always rinse my mouth out real well afterwards or brush my teeth.

Tried the Timberwolf Peach over a long road trip and it was allright but I think I will stick to the WG and Natural.

Exactly what I figured. I try to get the most out of each chew, leaving it in untill my spit is light tan instead of brown, then rinse my mouth out like I just blew satan himself.

Thanks for the tips, I think I'll buy redman plug instead of days work. I too mostly use it outside, nothings better when mowing the lawn(maybe being drunk, but that's slightly more dangerous). I'll buy some plug today if I decide to leave the house(15% chance)

Unless you have a high genetic predisposition for cancer, I think you'd rot your teeth and gums out before getting such a disease, and that goes for all oral tobacco, but let's not forget, smoking is much higher risk for oral cancer than smokeless.

ehhh fml, finishing a can of cope straight lc. I'm tired of dipping it's expensive and the cans aren't even fresh. I put in a large order of snus at my college and my dad found out I'm 20 and all but he's still you need to quit yada yada. Honestly If he takes the order or UPS doesn't give it to me and I can't find someone to sign and I somehow can't get it, I'll honestly probably not quit I can buy snus there locally but I'll mostly use dip, nasal snuff, and smoke a pipe which is easier to get apparently, my lower left teeth might not look so pretty six months from now not that they're that great to begin with, I just can't smoke cigs anymore it really screwed my lungs up I've only done it for a few months too.

I find dip to be cheaper than snus, but it might be where you live. Grizzly, Redman, Red Seal, Longhorn.... these are usually $2 something. It is true it's easy to get a not so fresh can at times, but they usually juice up once they are in. I do have some gum concerns, but that includes snus usage too. Maybe show/tell your dad how snus is like 99% safer than smoking, how it's steam pasturized, and not fired, and how Sweden has the lowest cancer rates, and how more people snus than smoke there(I think that's true?). Tell him you might quit it all someday, but for now, you'd rather make the best choice by using snus, and maybe he'll sigh for you, because if not, you'd be forced to buy dip, or smoke a pipe.

                              Ugh!!! bad/old can, ughhhh.
I had a can of Grizzly 1900, I opened and used a bit, but then went a few weeks without dipping. I thought today, I wonder if this is still good. I opened it, didn't smell bad, but it was dry a bit, but I stuck some in anway, and gawd, it stung, tasted bad, ugh, it's still got the bad taste in my mouth, I rinsed my mouth out and drank some water.

I pitched it. I have another can of I got when I got that can, but haven't opened it. I don't know how it is, I might try it, but not today.

Now, some Grizzly Natural LC, I bought this Saturday, but it still had the old lid on it, so I don't know how fresh it is, it seems OK though.

I was out of snus for 2 weeks, so I went to dip after placing an order or snus, but while Northerner took 12 days shipping to me, I tried

skoal spearmint, apple, peach, citrus pouches, timberwolf peach, timberwolf cool wintergreen, timberwolf wintergreen pouches, skoal berry blend, longhorn mint

My gums are hurting bad, there are little red sores on my lower lip/gum. My whole lower lip feel charred. My days of using dip are done...
