Never had the Copenhagen Black, but I did have the Whiskey Blend, and it was OK.

I'm really wanting some original Copenhagen Long Cut, but the last 2, or 3 places I went to, didn't have it, and I was suprised.

The Cope Natural Extra Long Cut is okay.

The sale by date was 7-11-10, and it was a little dry.

I misted it lightly with distilled water and put it in the fridge. Hopefully it will moisten up a bit.

I picked up a can of Grizzly LC Natural today. I liked this stuff when I was a full time dipper. It has an almost "dirty" smell and taste that I like. Flavor is strong, but pleasant and lasts a long time. It has the normal Grizzly cut. Packs well, but will get to your lip and gums after a while. This is as close to Cope LC I have ever found. Since PACT, I've found myself inching further and further back toward dip. That scares me. I dipped for 4 years before snus, but what the heck. I'm sure enjoying the hell outta this dip at the moment!

I have 4 different chewing tobaccos now and about ten cans of dip. I dont taste there much of difference on the chewing tobaccos. They have all same basic taste+little bit subtle differences. I have Levi Garret, Red Man select, Southern pride and Granger select+ Cope staight, Copenhagen wintergreen and Extra LC naural+skoal berry. I still think I like the straight dip best.

The usage of Swedish snus is obviously largely going to be based on it's ease of aquirement.

If SMNA could get their General even, at the same stores as the dip, with a comparable price, not only would it open up a new market, but also, allow current snusers to get their item of choice, without driving for miles to pay $6 a can at a fancy nitch cigar shop.

I also believe the "need" for refrigeration can be bypassed, with a foil seal under the lid, or something similar.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm also gradually returning to dip since PACT. I'm rotating throughout the day. Dip, Snus, Dip..... Unless things drastically improve in snus prices and UPS shipment requirements, my remaining 10 cans of snus will probably be the last. Regretfully. Although I am enjoying being able to use loose tobacco again without worrying about mudslides and having to refrain from laughing or smiling in public.

As long as the Swedish snus companies keep their exotic imported item, an exclusive nitch product, then it will remain as such.

People like dip, people like chew, people like snus, some use one exclusively, some mix it up, some smoke cigs, some smoke cigars. I do not believe if SMNA introduced an "American" snus(a real snus) for the local dip racks, it would not harm their dip product sales, like it does not hurt their cigar sales in exclusive cigar shops.

They really need to make a quality Swedish taste snus, with a foil topped inner seal, under the RED MAN name, and get it on the dip racks. People WILL buy this!

I really don't believe I am wrong. But, if snus remains(real snus that is) an obscure item, it's popularity in the US will wane, especially with stuff like PACT going on.

                They should hire me.

OMG! I finally secured me a tin of Grizz 1900 LC. Oh this is some good dip!~~~ I tend to leave these in for over an hour+ and still lotsa flavor. Reminds me of Copenhagen in this regard. The tin only cost me a $1.35 Tax included. Found it in a convenience store in teh "Brown-Eye" state of Ohio.

I finished some cope lc yesterday not sure what I'll buy, I've got some stokers fc natty but that stuff while it tastes ok is something I have no desire to use. I think I'll get some cope natty lc or grizz natty either lc, fc, snuff, or if I can find it 1900.

At least we can tell the difference between the pink and the stink In Ohio. Y'all Pennsyltukians can't even remember to turn your blinker off rolling up 224 at 15 MPH under the speed limit.

You BrownEye's don't even have working turn signals on your vehicles OR you haven't learned how to use them.

Yeah? Well at least we can find more to do on a weekend than oohing and awing at the animatronics at Kraynaks.

Not to mention the fact that we can buy beer, liquor, and food without stopping at three different stores.

They sell six packs around here. No need to buy the case to try a new brewski. Then again, considering the well water y'all drink a case of Natty Ice probably only lasts most PA families a day or two.

I suffer a trip into the dark side now and then when I get a hankering for a 'sandwich" that has meat, cheese, french fries, coleslaw, and a fried egg on it. Must be why the ladies in the Commonwealth are so fine huh.

All I've really used is Grizzly Wintergreen. Don't like the taste of straight flavors and most other flavors, like peach, don't seem to cut it for me. I usually stick to pouches cause I don't like all that crap floating around my mouth. Only thing I can find in pouches locally is Grizzly and Skoal. Skoal pouches are made out of cardboard I swear. They are the crappiest, most uncomfortable pouch I've ever had. No way I'm paying almost twice what Grizz costs for crappy ass pouches like that.

That being said, I do grab a can of long cut once in awhile to satisfy the urge, but end up throwing half the can away cause it dries out as it lasts me so long.

I do want to try some of the whole leaf stuff though. Being a larger hunk of baccy sounds like it wouldn't have the same problems I have with long cut dip.

I like Grizzly Wintergreen, too. I use the Long Cut loose, though.

I've only used a couple of my Skoal pouches, but I haven't really noticed any problem with them.

And, for whole leaf chew, I recommend Levi Garrett and Red Man.

Try a Grizzly pouch, then try a Skoal pouch. It's night and day completely. Grizzly's are soft, loose, and feel 'barely there'. Skoals are so rigid and thick, I don't know how people get any juice or nic through that.

And yeah, I heard Red Man and Levi are widely liked. I can get the Red Man big pouch at any gas station around here, but think I'm gonna take a drive down to a tobacco shop near me and see if they carry the Levi.
