They definately need a tobacco flavour brand and be a little bigger for sure. I'd buy them all the time if this was the case.

I can't do snuff - it's not strong enough and no matter how I do it, it sits on my chest. If it came to it I might even try other chew and just chop it up small.

They used to. It was called Senior and wasn't bad though I don't think they were larger. I'd buy a tin at the tobacconist once in a while and they were tasty. The tobacconist stopped selling it several years ago so I lost track and when I found them again OT had revamped their offerings and dropped Senior. Under the circumstances it might be an idea to request they make it again.

I use to think that too. Keep trying! It took me almost a year to find some snuffs that provided me with a good nic hit.

Ok - got some Oliver Twist Original and Royal. Haven't opened the Royal yet but I'll know what that tastes like - liquorice.

The Original is slightly smokey and is much better than the medicinal taste of the Eucalyptus and Arctic. Very heavy liquorice flavour that is actually quite nice.
As usual the nicotine is very very good and could definately be used as a substitute for snus if snus were banned. In fact, I'm liking the nicotine from these so much that I'll keep buying them to use with snus.
So long as these don't get banned in the review along with snus.

I think that's the one Oliver Twist type that is fire-cured so in theory not as safe.

I got a mini-pouch of piccanell in my last order and they are the same size as the Oliver Twists but much softer and not flavoured with liquorice. But they do have that fire-cured taste to them too which is a shame as they are so soft and comfortable and just tobacco flavoured. You need at least 3 of them for a decent hit of nicotine.

Now what were those brilliant large, soft cuts of tobacco that Swedish Match used to make? They were brilliant!
                Squeezyjohn

Sometimes wrong and sometimes right .... but ALWAYS certain!!!

Bought a bit of brown kendal twist tobacco to tide me over till my snus arrives.

Its the first time I've tried it and its horrible.

Glad I didn't buy any Kendal - nearly did.

I've just opened the Royal. These are the nicest of the lot and they're bigger. Just liquorice and nicotine. Very very good stuff.

My own conclusion from this is that I'll buy the Royals with the odd Original. Original kicks like a mule - maybe because it's fire cured. It would be interesting to know what the TSNA content of Original is.

I'm going to give it to the elderly Irish gentleman down the road to smoke in his pipe.Apparently a bit mixed in with aromatic pipe tobacco is nice, gives it a bit of a kick so I hear.

Working through a pack of the wintergreen of these now. They are ok, but prefer snus. Although I do like I can chew it for more but the flavor doesn't do it for me. Thankfully I just did a restock order with northerner.

Ansels post saying that Original is fire cured concerned me as it turns out it is my favourite (not Royal as I said earlier)...............so I e-mailed Oliver Twist in Denmark and they replied extremely quickly.

It turns out that Original is not fire cured but smoke flavour is added. The TSNA content is the same as the other Oliver Twists so this is good news.

I see 10 tins on order soon.
