I like the way they're so small - ikkle cute rabbit sh*te.

I find it odd that it's all sweet. There's surely got to be some natural tobacco sticks around. I'll have a look.

I read somewhere that Neftóbak is available in the UK. You could always do what Icelanders do: wet the tobacco a bit, and use an Icetool or Pris Master (or a plastic syringe with the end cut off).

The Grim and Triepel... and the Gawith Hoggarth twist... are both fire-cured from what i recall so maybe would be higher in TSNA. We need to get Grim and Triepel to produce an air-cured version!

This tin is going to last me 3 days - it's near the end of the second day and I've got 17 bits left. I've only used 2 pieces of snus.

I made a mistake in my cost calculations then. There were at least 35 pieces in the tin. If a tin lasts 3 days it will work out the same as using snus - about £40.00 a month.

I'm pretty much a chain snusser but I have no desire whatsoever to chain these things. The nic is pretty impressive.

I especially like them because they're very discreet and taste great with coffee, no need for cold storage or storage space for that matter. I also like that I can get them within two days. I might take a walk into town this weekend and have a look in some of the shops to see if they've got any.

It's bugging me as to why I didn't know about these things when I first decided to give up smoking 4 years ago.

This is a pretty impressive review mate. These things have been around for years, when I decided to give up smoking 6 years ago, i'd forgotten about them. Now looks like the time that i should get a stock in place, i really like the sound of them now. We have a traditional sweet shop in town that also sells tobacco, and tobacco bits and bobs. He did sell them, but when i ran out of snus and asked him about them, he said "sorry, we're not allowed to sell them" ??? wtf, i said "no, you're wrong, tobacconist all over the uk sell them, i can get them online" I just said, your loss and walked out, he is a bit odd

I can buy them a ten minute drive away from here. He has limited stock but nevertheless it's pretty cool.

It was Oliver Twist tobacco that helped me find snus. I used to get the said Twist from a UK snuff vendor but noticed they did not carry all the flavours so a search for the other flavours helped me stumble on Northerner a few years ago.

Anyhow Oliver Twist is nice tobacco but I found I needed to use 3 portions at a time to get a sufficient hit.

They've turned on me already - all that liquorice is too much. I can't finish the first tin.
Although the nicotine I found to be quite good and effectual the taste leaves something to be desired - good for temporary useage though.
Stuck in an Odens Extreme and it was heaven. The two products are worlds apart - if snus is banned I'm going to be devastated.

Northerner is currently out of anything decent right now so I went to the tobacco store to get a few cans of General. While I was there, I noticed they were offering sample packs of Oliver Twist for 70c a pack so I had to try it. They are not all that bad but I really think I would need to use more than 1 or 2 of these at a time. The original has the best flavor IMO and I really don't detect anything other than a bit of salt maybe. They are very concealable and hold their shape well. I am afraid to try the wintergreen and will probably just toss those. I do not find these nearly as good as snus but I would be able to use these if I were out of snus. It would be a real plus if they were just a bit bigger.
