This is correct.
My first ship came from PA (with stickers). All since come from Sweden: within four days (no stickers).

That may be due to it being shipped from Sweden now instead of PA.......if i remember USA snus is nolonger shipped from the PA warehouse. ........which might eleminate the sticker requirements

I realize that this is an old thread and being a new member here, I myself am probably way past the "expiration date" with this information: so please forgive me for this "update".
My Jakobssons, Toboca, Odens, Thunder, and most OFFROADs all come with no additional paste on stickers from The Northerner.
That probably now is the case with everybody. But being a new user I wouldn't know.

If the other companies followed, it would be a win-win for those annoyed by the mandatory warnings, and for the manufacturers (I'd imagine they would save a few bucks in the process using a 'cheaper' sticker).

This is what a "Thunder" can looks like with the sticker removed (notice the word 'SNUS' in the center of the lid):

On the bright side, the slightly off-center top sticker makes a lovely hinge for the catch lid. Otherwise, I agree with the Best Before date obfuscation protests.

ditto! And don't you just hate it how the outside of the can gets sticky because not all of the adhesive comes off whenyou peel the labels off. Then that sticky part gets pocket lint or whatever on it and the whole can looks ans feels crappy! Look at any snus review and it's clear those of us who use this stuff regularly really care about the can design. It matters.

I got so annoyed trying to remove those stickers, that I resorted to reusing the one can I was able to clean up. Now I just open a new can and dump the contents into the old can. I would like to see the "best if used by" date though.

Fuast. Funny you should mention that. I just got 9 rolls and I couldn't see the expy date on any of them and a good portion of them I had to rip off part of the label to see what brand/flavor it was [when some different kinds of snus cans are identical. Like General los, portion, etc. I would think who ever is hand labeling could at least try not to cover the flavor/brand ID. Its just as easy to make sure you don't cover that info. All it takes is a bit of organization on the part of the person labeling. Or maybe looking at what they are doing and careing just a bit.

I passed on buying some Odens in a store in Missouri for that very reason. The store owner couldn't even tell me what it was....

I don't care how much of the can is covered in warning labels. Just leave the best buy date showing and the flavor showing. So we know what it is. I know some labels are put on auto and some by hand. I'm simply asking that the labels that are put on by hand purposely not cover the date and the flavor. Certainly some of the labels that are put on by auto will cover the info but not with every single tin. They would never cover such important info it that were from my country.
I've often been referred to as superman. And I am but I lack the xray vision. sorry
