    I'm ordered a package of snus on 08/17/2010. Order ID 704007. Package not yet arrived in Serbia. I checked at the Serbian post customs and received information that the package did not arrive to them. So please if you can check what's the problem.

    The way we do business is that if you want to save money using a non traceable postage service than we cannot take responsibility for your package if it gets lost.

    Since you were promised a reshipment from a colleague (which you are quite lucky to receive as this is NOT the policy) then there is no reason to think we don't trade responsibly. It is the customers responsibility to protect his investment with registered mail if he is frightened that the parcel might get lost.

    The reshipment has been pending because teh Gotland is out of stock but I have set your package to be shipped at once without it.

    Sir since you don't have understand my problem i will try to explain. Order date is 08.17.2010. and today is 09.09.2010. i am short for 103 euro. Perhaps it is nothing for you, but in my country that amount is someone's monthly salary, or in my case monthly pension. In 09.01.2010. on my complain i get response from Mr.Vladimir Popov

    for me the Northerner is been nothing but excellent shipping and service , your problem may be the postal system in your country , I feel for you if this is not the case but I believe that alot of people here use northerner without a issue
    hopefully you see a package or a refund soon

      If it's shipped UPS, UPS probably does the deliveries themselves in Serbia. If you use Swedish Post, then it's the Serbian mail service that might be screwing up.

      While I have a low opinion of Northerner for other reasons, I don't think they're purposely trying to screw you out of your order.

        Read the full post before you start writing.

        Not a problem on Serbian post. If you read the correspondence you've probably seen that did not send the goods becausel Gotland is out of stock, and said they would send without him and money back. Also, you could see that all the time i was informed on postal customs and there is nothing arrived. Their promises 12 days have passed and still nothing. Read the full post before you start writing.

            I did read the whole post , did they list the order as shipped and what postal service did you use ? Swedish ? why not get UPS and get a tracking #

              It looks like the problem is with post or customs in Serbia. They have shipped you two shipments. It's not their fault.


              Serbia is not an EU member. Serbia does have an interim agreement with the EU on trade.
              Looks like there's a tobacco tarrif of 50% for 2010
              CN Code: 2403 99 10 Chewing Tobacco and Snuff.

              If I was a betting man, I'd say packages are getting hung up in Serbian Customs, even if they are telling you they haven't seen it.

                    I have had my problems with Northerner in the past but it seems like they have been shaping up lately.

                    And from what I can tell it seems like a problem with the Serbian mail like others have said. Maybe you'll get two shipments soon! lol

                      Northerner has been fine for me, and as near as I can tell, just about everyone else. Resolutions haven't always been quick, but they happen eventually.

                        I have looked thoroughly at your order and there has been a system error with it. Initially, your order was shown as shipped so we had thought it gone already. I had reset your order back to Pending as I had promised above but because the Gotland Flader was out of stock it was holding your order back. I refunded you the money on that product and set the priority mode to High and the order still sits at pending.

                        At this point I have decided to give a full refund since this seems the easiest and most prudent method.

                        My package was delayed 30 days.
                        A northerner on his site had a mistake in the section "ask a question."
                        1. After my post they correct the mistake on that page, so now you can contact them when you have a problem.
                        2. Since then, they change sending packets from Swiss post office to Sweden post office. "Because the Swiss lost packets"
                        Because the problem is the Swiss post, and not the Northerner i decided to change all my posts to "nothing more" and the last post was an apology that you quoted.

                            From my experience of ordering and postage - STAY A MILLION MILES AWAY FROM SWISS POST.

                            Northerner has had problems, but fairs fair here - this is a postage problem of some kind. I've had terrible problems with Swiss post in the past and I avoid it like the plague.

                            I have no idea why Northerner use Swiss post instead of Swedish post. It's got to be costing them.

                            Swedish post is excellent.
