Northerner and Snus US Retail Distribution Questions

    1. Anybody have an idea when this will happen?

    2. What type of stores will northerner be distributing product to?

    3. What states will product be distributed?

    4. What brands?

I know I am just throwing this out there, but I am still dreaming of a day when I can go to a local store and buy snus other the camel and marlboro. BTW I am not a big General Line Fan before anybody says "You can buy General in tobacco stores"

We will begin shipping around the first of July in PA, NJ, PA and KY. We are currently working on several other states, including TN Redsfan. As for specific stores, we will be announcing that a little later, but everyone will know exactly where and when to find Swedish snus in the stores. That being said, you can expect to see Thunder Frosted and Wintergreen, Jakobsson's Wintergreen and Oomph Citrus Menthol. The possibility for expanding our offerings exists in the future but we'll have to keep you posted on that.

Again, if anyone wants to see us in specific stores in their area....PM me the info and I'll check into it in July. For now, we're working on making certain we are PACT compliant and let me say, it's been interesting. Be patient with us as we grow, this process won't happen overnight (wish it could) but Swedish snus in the US can and will be a reality. Thanks to those of you that have given me contact info for stores. I promise to personally contact those stores and follow up with you on the results. Thanks again.

Rick's done a great job responding to my inquiries, I suggest at some point people contact their local retailers. The good ones are very responsive I've discovered.

Your retail selection sounds disappointing, it sounds like you're chasing the dip crowd. Why no regular flavoured snus?

                And there was much rejoicing!

I assume where you say "PA" the second time, what you meant was "NE".

I agree. There needs to be traditional flavor snus available to the American public right off the bat. Even RJR realized that by offering mellow and frost same with barf Marlboro

Like I said. Especially after hearing the crap they are going to be slinging. It may appeal to the dip crowd (but it won't) And you are going to totally alienate those of us who are your bread and butter. Once again this is an exercise in futility AFAIC. Which as I've stated before is fine with me. The lower profile snus stays and my ability to get it stays the same, makes me happy. Nothing personal Frank and Fred but I am going to be selfish in my views at this point.... I mean really, out of the four you listed the only one with any kind of following is thunder frosted. Why not go with a Grov Los and take on the copenhagen users...... It would be smarter in my opinion.

Why does every snus manufacturer/distributor out there think that Americans want everything wintergreen flavored?

Especially considering the #1 selling dip in The US is Copenhagen

Or some copenhagen facsimile like grizz 1900 snuff. Which when I met with th local conwood rep he told me grizz is growing way faster than cope, but they pretty much just copied it. Hence it is just as good but less expensive. As a former copenhagen die hard I will confirm that it is almost as good and the difference is negligible when cost is considered

OH! and I love Grov Lös Very very much

LMAO, sorry for the typo. It's supposed to say NY, but NE isn't out of the question. Working our way out there will take a little time, but we're coming!!
