Can you enjoy fresh snus with shipping times?

Sorry for beating a dead horse, but since i haven't yet received my buysnus order that was shipped on Sept. 5, I was wondering what damage the delay does to the snus. Will it still be good after such a delay. Are there certain brands that will hold-up better to time away from refrigeration? Thanks.

I should think so? I'd throw it in the fridge as soon as it arrives, but I wouldn't think it'd really start to lose its freshness until it has been opened. However, I'm new to the snus-game too so can someone else confirm?

It takes packages a while to get to North Carolina as well.

Depends what it is. White/dry portions are more resilient than original/moist portions...loose, somewhere in between. It also depends on where it has been stored - in a hot or cool room, etc. I imagine it should be alright, to be honest. Strange that it's taking so long though. Maybe it became a "suspect package" case...

My snus has to come all the way from Sweden to the western coast of the United States and it arrives perfectly fresh.

          what you guy's would do?

Have you tried contacting the vendor from which you purchased the order?

Hmmm... I wish I could help you with some suggestion but it seems you've tried most everything. To your knowledge, Is Estonia particularly difficult when it comes to customs and the importation of tobacco? If you ordered 4 rolls, it may exceed the allowed amount for personal consumption on a single import order. How much snus did your friend order?

The swedes are born with a hyperactive honesty gene - if you ordered it, they would certainly have sent it. Their level of organisation and orderliness would lead me to think that if they did, by some chance, forget to send it, that they would have noticed right away when you called. Estonia shouldn't put it through any sort of customs as you're in the EU, so the taxes, etc, are all paid already. What are your local postmen like? In the UK they're treacherous and incompetent... things go missing all the time :?

That seems to be the picture here too

About Swedish honesty - I think Zero is spot on. The problem must be found somewhere else ...

Mmm.. i think 1 kilogram is max amount of tobacco when importing. But if it's really exeeded as you say. Dont they have to notify me or buysnus?
My friend orded only 1 roll so custom is out!
Today is friday and snus hasn't still arived and i will send a new e-mail to buysnus. ( they told me if my snus is not here by friday - i will notify them!)

you're right I think its swedish post!
Another funny thing is that, buysnus told that they have 3 years anniversary or sth. and they pay for shipping everyone who order next three day's etc. meibi they had so much work and they got mixed up my order with someone else-s order. If i only knew that is comeing i would rather pay-ed myself and used UPS.
SO actually if anyone know what Incoterm's are they know that buysnus gave me a unwritten promise by DDU --> Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) is an Incoterm. It means that the seller pays for all transportation costs and bears all risk until the goods have been delivered, but does not pay for the duty. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delivered_Duty_Unpaid

                        good stuff right ?
