    problems with northener website ?

    I have messaged Northerner a few times through their contact us page on their website and never get replies.

    The have ****ed up my bonus points.

    And today I placed an order for about £20 and it took my money but they never sent an order number and the order is not showing in my order history.

    Is anyone else experiencing problems?

    Shit good thing I read this thread, I was just about to place a order through them.

    Does anyone have any information on this?


    OP, did you get charged for it? Cause they might just be having problems with their website for now and nothing may of even come out of it.

      I know that Northerner has been experiencing some technical difficulties lately. As far as the points go, mine are screwed up too, but I think they are working on a system to make them easier to view. I've emailed them in the past and they've always gotten back to me by the next day.

      Just be patient and I'm sure they will have all the kinks worked out.

      I just placed an order with them yesterday and didn't have any problems receiving my confirmation number.

        Every site has there rare, but still occasional hiccups. Best thing whenever you see something like that is call or e-mail customer service.

          I would call them however they don't have a phone number on there site.

          I did a whois on northerner.com it says

          So I called the number and got a recorded voice in Swedish that hung up.

          I email svandal as he is listed as the admin contact and the email was bounced back as a none existent mail account.

          So I am a bit panicky.

          Luckily I have snus fridge stocked for at least 2 months and 3 cans of dip.

          I was in need of more dip. No one else ships it to the UK at a reasonable price.

            Then e-mail them. They even have a form on there site to do just that.

              I had messaged them now about 10 times using that contact us web form. Normally you get an immediate automated response via email with words to the effect of 'thanks we will look into this and get back to you' but i have not had any of those acknowledgments.

              As far as I know its not a national holiday in Sweden and they have 11 staff.

                The only email I get back from Northerner is the one addressing the specific problem, and it usually comes on the next business day. Hope this helps!

                  You did say you placed the order today.
                  I think they are GMT +2, they're gone for the weekend by now.

                    If they had accepted my order today I would have got a free sampler can of general snus.

                    If they process the order on Monday I miss out on the deal of the week.

                      Northerner has developed a good reputation on this forum and periodically replies to issues presented by members. I have yet to hear of a problem that they haven't rectified.

                        A couple of orders ago I spent some of my bonus points... the key word here is some.. Not only did all my points vanish but the ones for my new order never showed up. Not to panic. I sent them an email. Got back a reply right away about how they have fixed everyone's points and mine were right.

                        Viewed all my invoices... added up my bonus points... subtracted what I used the points for and no, I'm shorted quite a few points. Sent this off in an email and was told it would be passed along.
                        A week goes by so I send another email and got a reply just like the first one.. about how they have fixed everyone's points and mine were right.
                        Did the same thing with my addition and subtraction to show them I was being shorted. Next day my missing points show up...
                        All is good... but the laughs on me.
                        Latest order. I spent bonus points, Should have been some left over. They are all gone again and the stuff I bought, there bonus points weren't added in.


                        Here we go again.

                            goto www.swedish-snus.com and us the contact us from there. Since its the same company. I had experienced some hiccups with them recently. They'll clear it up.

                            About the points their system is messed up, they know this. If your points are less than they are, they will correct them if you would like to spend them right away, everything is tallied in your previous orders so you aren't loosing any points. They will have their points system working smooth soon.
