    no us smokeless on Northerner?

I was gonna make my new order (stocks getting low) As usaul weeks before i offically make my order i select what i want in addvanced then i just select chekout. Since they are offering US smokeless of less than 1/4 of the price we canadians paid (and many brands we can't get). I racked up alot of US smokelss. I get the the site and all have the dredded red dot! FAAACK!

I wonder why canadians can't by U.S. produced smokeless from a swedish supplier in the U.S. They've covered all their bases to make canadians unhappy

I am sure there are legal reasons and Northerner isn't simply trying to piss of Canadians.

Perhaps the US operation s set up in such a way that it can't export anything from the US, it is only for internal consumption??. Hopefully, Frank will be by to clarify soon.

I found a website before at was located state side that did sell US dip to us up North. But they did capitalize on the deal. The prices were quite high but if you want the product you gotta pay.

I am not sure if there is any legal issues about it. They have a discalimer just like buysnus and northerner that if customs get their filthy paws on your product you have to be the one responsible.

On a different note on the Northerener website even making my snus order all i get is the red dot (in stock within 1-3days) on all the snus i have sellected. So it might not be that Northerner is trying to Keep Canadinas down.

          captncaveman,

I would email Northerner using their webform 1st.

The USA shipped snus is still relatively new and the inventory system may not be "live" on USA shipped snus/dip. When they 1st set it up they had all kinds of problems getting it to display the right prices.

Or again, the American operation is just set up to ship internally in America. Any of our friends in Europe want to try and do a dummy order using just the American warehouse. Could at least put to rest this anti-Canadian conspiracy theory.

For example the German custom will, if the package doesn't slip through custom - which it many times does, charge importation tax +40% and German Sales Tax which is +17%. That is more expensive than ordering from Sweden directly.

For Pennsylvanians the orders will be +6% in sales tax, to make the IRS happy ;-) But for US people living outside Pennsylvania there is no sales tax.

The US warehouse is not just for US customers. 8)

Well i made an order threw the Northerner site ordering 20 cans of US smokless. The order went threw okay. But still had the "red dot". Oh well i will see what comes of this, could just be some bugs with the website.

Just as long as you don't hate Saskatchewans.

                    P.S. I know they weren't real Saskatchewans.

Yeah we's be's a little back woods. A mixture of the stereo typical texan mixed with well bred trailer/white trash. Thats an Albertan HAHHAHAHA.

By the way Northerner got back to me. Canadians can order US products. Must have been a bug. They also mentioned we could get taxed (what else is new?).
