Snus in USA

A friend called me from Idaho. He said he went to a tobacco shop and found General Snus there at $3.50 per can. Wow

There are a few stores that are selling it that cheaply. I heard someone else found it for $3 a can.

The price is the same but the selection has gone down.

They now sell general white portion, white portion wintergreen and catch dry peppermint exclusively.

So last time I went to Walgreen's (this was on another thread but I deleted it) I asked the cashier for a coupon for free Marlboro snus, six pouch. she said that if I bought cigarettes, which I didn't she would be able to give me one.

Then as I was walking out, she ran over to me and gave me a coupon: "here no one buys these anyway".

Today I went back to walgreen's and got a snus 6 pouch. apparently walgreen's charges $2.40 for it which I was given for free. With my reciept, she gave me another coupon for another free pack of marlboro snus :shock:

they can't even give this stuff away.

BTW convenience stores all over Dallas that aren't giving them away are selling them for about $0.89...

The Marlboro snus isn't worth free. If you pay .89 for it you're paying .89 too much. It's still better than Skoal snus and Grand Prix though.

As far as the General, I've seen one cigar shop that carried it, and they wanted 6.XX a can for it. I'll stick with ordering from tax-free Pennsylvanian online vendors, thank you very much.

I saw some Marlboro snus in dallas this weekend and almost got some just to try. But it was on the shelf with the smokes, non-refrigerated, and I had a can of thunder, N&J, and Oynx in the car so I didnt go for it. I sort of wish I had gave it a go, just to be able to try it.
