Hey, it makes it a one stop for low priced oral tobacco. I'm not much of a dipper, even though I like a cope pouch every so rarely. I just wish the General Los could be shipped from US for bonus points.

I've sent a few emails to Northerner about this myself. I don't understand why it's not possible.

Me wonders if they will start selling the General and Rhoda tobacco bits.

I'm all for Northerner selling American smokeless products. If there's a demand for them overseas, why not? I mean, I use the Swedish products. Why shouldn't the Swedes be able to try out the American product?

I still use quite a bit of dip. Thankfully for me, I live in dip country so I can always get fresh stuff for about $2-4 per can.

With northerner selling all of these products at a very reasonable price, I forsee many American dippers who have never even used snus turning to Northerner as a supplier. With some states taxing dip causing prices of $7+ per can, Northerner will be a very cost effective solution.

There is also the abilito for those on the other side of the pond to get hold of things otherwise unattainable.

If prices go up any more here, I'll start using Northerner for my dip.

A suggestion to Frank: Get the Cope Smooth Hickory and Cope Whiskey Blend. Both are fantastic. Be careful with the original Copenhagen. It goes stale very fast. The stores around my parts actually refresh their Copenhagen stock once a week to keep it fresh. The "Cope" varieties keep fresh for quite a while longer.

            Nice work Frank!

I'm happy to see the Northerner offering dip. I didn't see Copenhagen Long Cut, but like Xobe said it is very perishable.

I think the prices are very reasonable and look forward to trying some different brands I've yet to sample.

It's great that our European friends can sample American chewing tobacco.

I'm not using as much dip or cigarettes as I did before finding snus, but I still enjoy a fat pinch now and then. Nothing like loading up and spitting while doing yard work.

Just in case someone who has never tried it is considering for the first time.

I hope no one gets sick using dip the first time. Some people swallow the juice, most don't. Most "dippers/chewers" spit the juice out. It is traditionally used in the bottom lip by the way.

I don't care what else they want to sell as long as they keep on selling the Snus. It doesn't bother me at all.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I took the opening of the US warehouse as a quicker way for the Americans to get the products but also a way for people in the EU to get snus and avoid the taxes. The same way we do by buying from Sweden. They would get the snus that was marketed to America with English warning labels and such. Not just for American dip.

I have a nice fat lip of Cope Whiskey Blend right now. This is what I had hoped Probe would taste like. Love Cope Whiskey, hate Probe.

I wouldn't mind trying the American stuff but I don't like all the spitting.
                      Do you have to spit?

                        Well, no.

                        You don't have to spit.

I mean, if you like getting green around the gills and throwing up stuff you don't remember ever eating, then sure go ahead and swallow.

Seriously if you've not had dip before.. Spit out the juice.

Or do it outside so when you projectile vomit there's nothing to clean up.

                        Heh.

Um... some guys have iron stomachs.

My very humble opinion.
I have to agree with desirexe. I was shocked when I opened that link and saw American dip. I felt let down by this company that was selling a safer product.
I have a friend that was only in his early 20s when he had to have his mouth cut open several times to remove damage and cancer caused by dipping.
It was hard as hell for him to quit, then he turned to ciggs instead.

I look up to the Swedes for having a safer way of using tobacco and I hate to see it tainted by anything American smokeless.

                          I'm sorry,
I see absolutely no harm reduction in these American redneck products.

I'm sorry Northerner, I will need to rethink where I buy my snus.

Northerner never said it's purpose was to sell "safer" products. They just happen to sell snus which just happens to be safer. I'm sure the candy Northerner sells isn't that healthy.

Northerner exists to fill a niche and supply tobacco to people who really happen to love tobacco. And for their European customers, being able to get American dip may be a really cool opportunity.

I choose what I use. I am only interested n doing business with companies tat are good at providing me with what I want. I would never do business with a company who thought it was supposed to protect me from something that was "bad" for me.

I think the main reason I was disappointed to see dip at Northerner was because it seemed like snus was beginning to become more of a 'unisex' oral tobacco here in the United States, thanks to the release of Camel and Marlboro. Now that Northerner has dip listed with snus, I think this is going to help hurt women's chances of being accepted by society in general as oral tobacco users. I know I am giving Northerner a lot of credit here, making it sound as if EVERYBODY visits this site, but the truth is, I believe a ton of Americans do or will be visiting that site, again, thanks to Camel for making 'snus' a known product here in the states. This is just my very personal opinion and I don't want to offend anyone. I can totally understand the excitement some of you have expressed by Northerner carrying dip, I was the same exact way when swedish-snus.com added snuff. Happy dipping all of you dippers. Another reason I'm not a dip fan, I once sat on a fresh, juicy discarded wad. I swore revenge from that moment on against all dippers! hehehe!!! (Just kidding about the revenge part - my sarcasm can't be expressed in words)
