I was recently in a Super America and noticed that they had an entire stock of Camel Snus just sitting in room temperature under the cashier table. There was however also a small mini fridge with a small stock in it.
Now from my understanding is that for optimum freshness Snus should be refrigerated until point of sale.
This got me thinking about my new supplier Getsnus.com and whether or not they actually keep the supply of snus coming in from Europe refrigerated or not? To do so would require a large scale refrigerator system if you think about it.
Do they even keep it refrigerated at the Snus factories?
or is all this keeping Snus chilled a myth?
