    hey i think this is going a bit far. I mean i don't think Norhterner are devious , they just seem to have some technical difficulties from time time . I have recieved my Skruff stark Los , maybe a week or two later than it should have taken , but i have ordered before and it has been fine. I mean , the situaltion in the EU is precarious enough as it is . Only three sites i know of ship to EU states , if Northerner went belly up it would be a disaster

    Yep, smells like BS.

    If my first post was bad mouthing someone, I would definitely make sure I had all my ducks in a row, and gave plenty of information to support my claim.

    1 post to date, so who are you? Have you ever bought from Northerner before? What was your order number?

    Norther charged me multiple times. When I wrote to them to inform them of this they ignored my emails. When I wrote to them again they blocked my email. Beware Northener is now blantantly stealing from its customers. I think this business is going bust and they are trying to scam as many people as they can. DONT BUY FROM THIS SITE!!!!!!

    I'm new here but I think I have given up on Northerner. They were out of my General product order for a month, when I emailed them about it they didn't answer for two weeks. In the meantime I ordered some Off Road from them which showed up expired and dry as the Sahara. I just ordered from SnusCentral for the first time, and while the shipping was higher I received fresh product in two days. Overall the price per can was only a .35 more, well worth it.

    If I had to guess the tax is a sales tax and the difference is a tobacco tax, but the thing is I did this example of 1 can while not logged in so it did not know my state for computing the tax.

    Very happy with the way Northerner handled my order this week. Ordered over the weekend and the dispatch process started the very next working day (Monday) Being an international order when I get it will be in the hands of the postal services/customs but Northerner certainly handled their part of the process efficiently. Looks like things are looking up at Northerner.

    I placed an order yesterday and no problems, the subtotal was what it was expected to be an everything was right, but some time ago, I was checking to place a mock order with another account (a false account I created with a country outside the EU, just to check other snus brands) and I had the problem you say. I don´t know whay, maybe some taxes...

    OK here is the reply I got from Northerner..............I thought I'd pass it along in case anyone else runs into this issue............that said I have not had a chance to try it yet but will do shortly

    anyway here is their reply

    We are very sorry that you are having problems. It seems to be a browser related issue. Please try again or try in a different browser. We recommend Chrome, Firefox or the newest version of Explorer. Also make sure that your browser allows cookies.

    If the problems maintain, please contact us again as soon as possible.

    Thank you and have a lovely day!

    Update: I tried placing the order using Chrome, Firefox, and Explorer (as well as from different devices). In each case the problem persisted. So as it stands the above does not look like a solution (at least for me).

    Has this happened to anyone else? Regardless watch your subtotals if placing an order

    For the record, I've deleted my post grumbling about Northerner's customer service - they've responded and rectified the issue properly - thanks Northerner!

    Therefore, I don't think it's fair to leave the complaint here for Google to find....
