    What can I say Northerner?

I put together an order, and got sticker shock!

Three rolls at SnusCentral for $115 vs. the same three rolls at Northerner for $190!

Plus I can get Skruf and Taboca at SnusCentral.

I'm not sure the great experiment is working...

A higher price doesn't always mean better quality...

But definitely can generate more sales, lol.

Get them from wherever they're cheaper... I mean $75 is a huge difference.

You can get yourself a nice pair of ice skates this Christmas for $75 ;-)

In this case the lower price is the Better Quality and have even experienced it myself first hand... Here is what SnusCental has to say about the freshness and quality...

Our Swedish warehouse receives snus directly from the manufacturers on a daily basis. Since we ship directly from Sweden to our customers, you will receive the freshest snus possible with no delays. Our snus goes from the manufacturer to our warehouse to you. The snus from eStores with US warehouses goes from the manufacturer to the store’s Swedish Warehouse to shipment to the US Warehouse for final shipment to you. That’s a lot of transit time in unrefrigerated trucks until you receive it.
Since we are located in and ship exclusively from Sweden, we are able to sell all brands of snus available in Sweden (such as skruf, Knox, LD and Gustavus) which do not violate trademark rights or the US Cuban Trade Embargo.

I'm not worried about quality from either store. They are equal as far as I can tell. I just settled in with Northerner for a long time, but the taxes are a killer. That's the bulk of the price difference.

Of course I will be paying them when I file my returns, along with all the sales tax for my online purchases. Unless I forget.

Yeah Northerner is ridiculous which is only partly their fault (everything costs about 15-30 percent more), but I mean come on I thought of buying the thunder special and then I realized I would end up spending close to the same amount on taxes and shipping as on snus which I just didn't want to do. Some people are apparently math challenged so I recommend looking at snuscentral's random can rolls and adding some cans to see what it costs, then go to northerner and compare, the products are identical people general white from northerner tastes the same as general white from snuscentral or buysnus.

Never had any quality issues myself with snus from Norther or Buysnus...

The only difference is the price. (slightly higher on northerner)

For example a roll of V2 julesnus on Northerner would normally cost me $ 71.08 while on buysnus.com it's $68.68, notice the difference isn't high but it adds up on larger orders if you know what I mean.

It's complicated, as not every product comes more expensive on Northerner...

That's why before ordering, make a list order on Northerner and one on Buysnus and compare the total.

I am now exclusively buying from snusbargain or buying when northerner has deals. I can't afford to pay full retail price. I use 3 rolls a month, so $115-$150 a month is a bit steep. It's like with anything, you just gotta wait for the deals.

Hey, it's still cheaper than smoking.

Although I have only made a couple buys since Pact. The stuff I have gotten from SC and Buysnus is always quickly shipped and always fresh not to mention cheaper. I got my Kardis yesterday in the mail from Buysnus and it was a lot cheaper than anywhere else.

3 rolls a month is impressive I'd have a hard time doing that much if I tried, I'm at about 12-15 cans of snus a month. Is that los or portion? I remember northerner used to be significantly cheaper than snuscentral for ordering single cans, I would be willing to use them since I can order some dip and chew I want to try, but taxes are high, I also had a crisis of how much should I spend on tobacco which is partly resolved but not to point where I'm going to drop 10 dollars on a single cigar or pay 9 dollars for can of tobacco in washington state.

I have never ordered from SnusCentral, however I will be placing some orders through them in the future. I see their purpose, at least for myself, as to place bulk orders for the snus Northerner does not have and other singular cans that I wish to try. In other words, the extra cans that I have time to wait for.

Northerner, on the other hand, ships out of PA. I'm located in MD. So when I'm placing order for my typical General and Ettan portions, Northerner is my go-to source because it is here in 3 days. I'll gladly pay a little bit more in taxes to support an American business (more Americans ordering snus from American companies shows that there is a demand for the product and thus produces competition, which in turn can theoretically lower prices and create more deals) and just for the general convenience of the shipping time. But for me their close proximity is the real kicker and why I order from them. Getting 20+ cans within 3 days is something I'm willing to pay a little extra for.

As for my usage, I go through 2 cans a week of portion and it takes me almost a month to work through a single of loose. So a large order keeps me busy for quite a while.

How does shipping figure in though?

I'm not sure, I haven't ordered any snus post-PACT, just asking. I have to think shipping from Sweden via UPS would make a serious dent...

It's just the nicotine addiction... it gets higher and higher.

I would probably use 30 cans a month too, but $400 - $500 a month is insane for me. (can't and won't spend that much ever on a habit)
