After sampling many types of snus both los and portion i have settled on this so far.
3 Cans of Los. ( Gotlands Gul, Skruf, and Phantom Classic )
2 Cans of Portions ( Skruf Cran, Skruf Original )
When i first started it was like 5 cans of Los and 5 cans of portions.

I think more than 2-3 weeks is too long for an open can. It loses freshness for sure.
Being a light snuser (4-5 portions a day on average), I have 3 cans open at a time. Usually a stark for the mornings only, and then two other cans for the rest of the day. Only problem with this arrangement is that if I have a can of snus that I don't like (1847, Jakobbson's), it seems like forever before I use it up and can open another can.
My next order I will have cycled through all of the snuses that I want to try (no Offroad for me), so this shouldn't be a problem much longer.

Now that I posses a mini-fridge which houses only open snus....my open can ratio has skyrocketed to about 20 portion, 4 lös, alongside a Grizzly longcut, a Redman longcut, several Oliver Twists, and now on the dry unfridged side: 2 tins of nasal snuff and an open pack each of Stonewall and Ariva which are wretched. They are a good last-ditch nicotine source, but they get gross and creamy and chalky and tear the hell out of my stomach. I will keep them for emergencies [mail ban?] as they are foil sealed like pills and shouldn't ever go bad....er, worse. :?

i have 18 open cans right now... some of them have been open for a month, and i can't seem to get rid of them, since i don't really like them, but always want to give them another chance and don't wan't to throw them away... especially Gotlands, i can't wait to finally use them all and never order them again.
i don't have them problem with Roda Lacket, Ettan, Gotheborgs (both) and Knox, i use that stuff like candy.
i hope those long opened cans don't become dry and useless.
