Compressing question - then tell me about storage!

The usual routine. I take my icetool, stab the brown wonder a few times. Then i compress the stuff a bit before shooting my lip full. How much pressure do you guys give it? I've seen people squeeze it very long and people who don't squeeze any.

Because sometimes i think i've compressed a bit too much when touching the "package" with the tip of my tongue it doesn't tingle at all, and it feels really dry. Almost like the juices have been squeezed away. Or does the sensation of snus being wet and burn-y go away with time? I don't mean the "burning lip" sensation, that goes away i know.

And uh, how long does a tin stay fresh in the freezer and how long in a refrigerator?

Thanks a goddamn big bunch in advance.

    Welcome to the forum Allstar!!

I know when I set up a pris with my Icetool, I only compress it on the lid until I start to see some juice coming from under the tool. I know from the wisdom of others here and, my own experiences that the more you compress a pris, the longer it will stay together. Also, the more it's compressed, the longer it takes for the flavor to come out. It's basically personal preference. It also depends on the size of the tool as well. I have a 3ml and, the medium compression works for me. As for the dryness you're getting, it sounds like you may have either compressed it too much or, your can of lös may be drying out. How long have you had it?
As everyone here will tell you, there is no right or wrong way to compress a pris. Just play around with different methods and, you'll find the one that's right. Hope this helps.
