That would be a good idea though I think there's two chances: slim and none...and slim left town.Originally posted by GoVeganPerhaps they will be offering Kardus as part of the snuson VIP plan.

If you've got the money to spare for this by all means buy it and enjoy. I'm sure its great snus, just one that some including myself can not justify the cost of. I won't buy a 200 bottle of scotch either.Originally posted by chadizzy1To be honest, I could care less what they charge for it. You get what you pay for. Everyone can eat Ramen Noodles all the time, but they choose not to (unless you're in college) because sometimes your tastes call for something different. That once a month visit to the fancy steak restaurant is always worth it, no matter what it costs. Kardus is the same. We love snus, this is our reward. This is our feast, something special made JUST for us, the snus users. It's a labor of love a year in the making put together by one of the finest snus connoisseurs I've had the privilege of meeting. 86$ to me is cheap compared to what they could charge for it.
I think everyone has to make their own value judgments on their personal financial resources. If you like going to a fancy steakhouse once a month and its in your budget great. I aspire to have the resources to do that someday. But for now I try to find balance somewhere between Ramen and and that $25 Porterhouse steak at the steakhouse. For instance, buying a really nice steak at the market and cooking it myself and drinking a really good beer while doing so that would cost 4X as much if I drank it at the fancy steakhouse. In the end the difference in price is really just goes to pay for ambiance. I got the same steak, baked potato, salad, & beer but I can use the money I saved elsewhere. I'm not going to go into debt buying snus or a fancy steakhouse dinner. You must draw the line somewhere. What if your dinner bill from the steak house is $100... $200... $500... $1000... at some point you say to your self it isn't worth the cost, and that particular number is different for everyone.
Again, I'm not saying this snus is or isn't worth the price, its worth what you are willing to pay based on your finances and values. For me it means I buy a couple rolls what I like and pass on the Kardus.
Damn cool box though.

Okay, buysnus is calling this a "long cut". Just how "long" are we talkin'? Long cut like Offroad long cut? Or, a little coarse like Grov? I thought traditional snus was supposed to be pretty fine. Guess I'll have to wait for a review. If it's long like dip, I'll probably pass.

I'm passing on Kardus this year, I was not impressed with last years version.
I looked up to see what arrack is, from what I gather it's a distillate made from coconut flowers that has a similarity to rum. And I don't understand the inclusion of a piece of a 265 year old broken dinner plate.
