My guess is whoever is at the apartment desk will want it signed by the person who it is delivered to.

I've just discovered that they will have packages delivered to the residence life office instead of the apartment...so I'm not sure how they're going to handle the adult signature thing.

You could try talking with the folks at your local tobacco shop that already carries General to see if they would be willing to place an order for you. I think it would be reasonable to offer them a small handling fee (say 5% or so) on top of their wholesale price for their trouble. May cost you a little extra, but might save on some hassle factor.

I've not done this myself, but in talking with shop owners in general, they're usually good folks who always appreciate the business.
