A slight oddness in that they spell snus with all caps thus aping the Camel naming approach. Makes me a bit suspicious that the researchers may not be aware of the real Swedish deal.

Maybe it's funded by Camel. Anyway, if the study shows good things about snus's (sorry, SNUS's) effect on health, it could be helpful for keeping all snus available in the U.S.

I don't think that Camel shit could be too good for your health with extended use considering all of the sugar in it. Interested to see the results of this study.

It has to be funded by RJR. Otherwise it would not be confined to the Camel brand. Consequently any positive results from the study will be dismissed as irrevocably tainted by the anti-tobacco zealot community. Whatever RJR is spending on the study would be better used to improve and expand their product to more effectively compete with the real thing.

LaZ I don't think Texans use Camel SNUS, that sweet sick crap anyway. We get real snus from the hillbilly's in PA.

Camel snus doesn't have sugar in it, it has some kind of artificial sweetener that probably causes nerve damage and cancer. I only know that because wa3zrm mentioned that he had to call Camel and find out due to his diabetes.

Mr. Bandersnatch is correct the sweetness is derived from an artificial sweetener and only the Chemical Engineers at RJ Reynolds know for sure what else is in it. Mmm... Snus
