Camel Robust and Winterchill have arrived in my area

Just picked up some at the Sheetz in Chantilly, VA. GoVegan's review is pretty spot on.

So, is Robust sweet? I have heard it compared to General before, and that's not sweet. Is Robust comparable to non-sweet, non-"flavored" Swedish snus?

It's definitely sweet, but no real comparison to General that I can tell. The Robust portions are definitely fatter. My favorite so far is General Wintergreen.

I was just too lazy to drive down to my General dealer but I think I'll be making a stop this evening. ;-)

After spending $60 on a roll and a can and a snuff from getsnus, I will definately check out my local cigar shop next time for some General. I didn't even think of that when I made my order.

After reading Robust is sweet, I don't think I am really caring to try it anymore.

I picked up a tin of Robust and Winterchill today. Much better on the nic hit, bigger portions, but too sweet.

Imagine taking a general portion, dipping it in corn syrup and then throwing it in. It definitely has a bergomet smell to it but its just too sweet to be a regular for me.

The winterchill flavor wasn't too bad though. Still sweet but very little drip or flavor.

I'm beginning to wonder if the anti-tobacco zealots might actually have a point about American manufacturers aiming products at kids. How else to explain the absurd over sweetness of both Camel and Marlboro?

Found both Robust and Winterchill today at 7-11. I guess they finally went nationwide... Bought one of each, tried one of each and threw both tins out..

Robust - Gross smelling, points for it not being sweet but the flavor is totally gross..
Winetrchill - Even sweeter than Frost, taste like a lifesavers breathmint... Portions materials absolutely suck! Feels like a tissue in your mouth.

So I tried the robust today. I think it is pretty decent. It seems to have a decent amount of vitamin n, and while it is sweet, it isn't nearly as sweet as the others. I actually do taste some bergamot and a HINT of pepper in it. I think it would actaully taste like real swedish snus if it wasn't sweet. Not bad though.
