Ya you got pretty much the same idea as me. Once i save up enough tins I will most likely try something like this. I would really like to get almost every tin that is made for Los snus since thats all I mainly use now. I do have a few portion tins though. I want a good variety of colors/tins in my display. One day I will do this and post some pics on the forum. Obviously not anytime soon, but it will be done.

They're thick strips of unbleached, untreated brown paper. They come in booklets of 50. You use them to make a mouthpiece or "crutch" that goes in the end of a spliff (or a cigarette, but the only people I've ever know to use crutches are pot smokers). It allows you to smoke the spliff down to the very end without burning your fingers.Originally posted by The CookOK, Soft Morning. what exactly is a a "booklet of crutches"?
Helpful little buggers, those crutches.
EDIT: TBonehawk got it right, but I didn't see his post prior to responding with one of my own. End transmission.

personally, it depends on the canister. i like the swede match cans for snus, but when they're empty, i usually just pitch them cuz they're not that high quality for long term use.
the skruf cans...on the other hand...that's a little better for long term use as a grass container or for holding adapters (i kinda live in a recording studio).

I hear Swedish Match and the other manufacturers are going to get together and put a premium on the empty snus cans. If you redeem 150 emply cans you can get you first mouth cancer chemo treatment for free..................
its a joke folks.......just a jokeGrant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Brilliant. Get some hollow glass cylinders, fill them with the cans, and stick em around the house. Or use them as legs for a coffee table.

Anybody find good uses for empty portion cans?
I've found that cans with a good snappy lid like those used by Swedish Match are great for daily meds, especially when camping or hiking. I keep silver change in my car in a used General portion can. I know plastic cans are recyclable, but I'm reluctant, as I'd like to keep track of what I've tried and how many etc. Maybe I'll assemble a massive art installation using my spent cans. Or use them as air-hockey pucks.

by GuestHeadquartered in Malmö, Sweden, Fielder & Lundgren is probably the oldest snus manufacturing name in Sweden. Started as a company in 1835, F & L's history has been full of name changes but one thing that has stayed consistent thru out it's 175 year existence, is it's commitment to producing quality Swedish snus.
Even though the company was started in 1835, it was Samuel Fielder who applied for permission to manufacture snus in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1785. Today, Fielder & Lundgren produces-
