Um... What have they been teaching you at snus school??? Boy for someone with a grad degree in snusing, I think you'd know all the best practices... You're suppose to suck the snus, not blow! Blow is just an expression!
    :-)

Have you been putting snus in your vaporizer again???

Tobacco?! I've been ripping the packets open and putting them in my coffee, is that not what this stuff is for?

I first read about snus in some article -- I remember it was a New York-based magazine or newspaper, I don't remember which. And they were talking about real Swedish snus, not the American stuff. I work in electronic publishing, editing print articles for upload to the Web. So I'm exposed to a huge amount of reading material/information on a daily basis.

I read about Swedish snus over a year ago in a Roll Your Own forum. Members said they didn't smoke the whole weekend while using it  and you could get a free can from Getsnus.com. I called right away!

Well, I'm probably going to be the odd one out for this, but I'm pretty sure I found out about it four or five years ago from Wikipedia. Even when I was smoking, I just liked to be informed about all different types of tobacco from around the world, and I'm pretty sure I found out about snus by clicking a link in a general tobacco article. Around last June, I ordered for the first time, because I wanted my nicotine, but was sick of paying $18-$21/day to smoke.

I first learned about snus from Tropical Bob about 18 months back when cruising the E cig forum. Tried some months later when the eciig was becomming more of a pita. First was the US camel, next was first getsnus order. One year later i still haven't tried all the brands i want to.

I first heard of snus in 2007 from a friend who went to Norway, and talked about men and women(!) who used snus. A couple of months later I saw Camel at a Sheetz, and had to try it. If it wasn't for my friend, I doubt I'd have gotten into snus. I probably would have assumed snus was just another dip. After trying the Camel, I immediately went online and looked up what snus was about. I ordered Northerners 24 tin try out box, and the rest is history :^)

I don't even remember how I learned about snus, but I know it was online. I was probably shopping for rolling tobacco, or reading a forum. I remember typing "snus" into Google, reading about it on Wikipedia, and scanning a couple of snus forums, including this one (the old version). This all would have been some time early last summer, I reckon. By the time I saw the "Camel Snus" sign in the local cigarette store, I knew what it was, and that I probably wasn't going to like it. My first actual, snus-like snus was General from Iwan Ries, and shortly after Ettan from Buysnus, and that was in mid-August of last year.

Like a lot of people here, I learned about it from Camel snus. So, even though Camel snus is crappy, I am thankful for it. Although I have to thank Getsnus for introducing me to Swedish snus from their free can offer that was in one of those coupon clipper magazines that come in the mail.

Snus did help me kick smoking for good...haven't had a cigarette or had any desire for a cigarette since discovering snus.

I learned about it roughly about the time I signed up for this forum. I stumbled on it while looking for Oliver Twist tobacco bits...

I did learned about snus thru the 60 minute show. The next day i went and got the camel mellow and frost. Than i got online and looked up swedish snus which i never heard of b4 either. I smoked 2packs a day and quit several times but always went back 2 smoking. I quit smoking 3 or 4 days after i started snussing. So i was one of the folks who watched it air that evening and found a pleasureable way 2 quit. I haven't had a cig since 4/10. Woo hoo
