Stark means strong in Swedish. Sterk means strong in Norwegian. Like General Ekstra Sterk for instance was marketed especially for Norway. No difference in a stark or a sterk, unless of course it's an extra (ekstra) sterk/stark. I think.
I think part of it is that my nicotine requirements as a pipe smoker are different than those of a cigarette smoker. Since pipe smoke is not inhaled, my nicotine absorption has always been through the slower, steadier oral route rather than the quick rush through the lungs that cigarette smokers are used to.
