Portion. I like the taste of los, but my top teeth are not the most even, and I just find it too uncomfortable to use.

I've seen a few of these polls and my answer stays the same. Portions I can taste, Los I cannot. With portions I get the tasty drip, with los I feel like I need to be tongue-ing it Ron Jeremy style to get any flavor.

I'm snussing a couple of years now and it's definately portion. I gave los a really good try - it just wasn't practical and I didn't really like it.
If portions were suddenly withdrawn from the market and all that existed was los - I'd give up snus completely.

I use loose mainly. I just prefer it. There are times I use portions though. First thing in the morning because my coffee and sleepy face tend to make a pris slide prematurely. Also while sleeping I prefer portions. Plus some of those portions are damn tasty like Claq Qui, GES, General Maxi, Grov Svart, etc...

Los for sure! So much tastier, more economical and more comfortable. I used to only use it at home but I've gotten really clean with it. I hardly ever get mudslides or anything on my teeth when I'm putting it in or spitting it out.

I just started with snus a little over a week ago and I really didn't think I'd even try los... well, I did give it a try and I think I prefer it. I will continue to use both because I think portions (at least for me) will work much better when out in public, but since I spend most of my time at home (I work from home) or out in the woods (hiking, camping, etc)... I can deal with the mess 90% of the time. I think I prefer portions for portability - I can use a pill case to carry a couple varieties in their own seperate compartments - and for hanging out with people that would be less forgiving if I ended up with mud on my teeth.

I clicked on "use both equally", but it's really more like 60/40. Using more portions, only because of my work. I can hide portions far easier than a fat prilla of los. While at home though, I use more los. I love both for different reasons. The portions are a bit more convenient for me, and los is like sex without a condom, lol

Snusdog also once said that wintergreen in tobacco "is like sucking on a teat through a sweater." A wise man indeed.

Loose snus is just portions without the inhibitions. Much better, in my not-so-humble and entirely misguided opinion.
