    snus similar to lucky strike

I'm sure this has been gone over before, but just as a refresher what snus do you guys think is the most similar to lucky strike? I'm currently setting up my current order, and I would have loved to get some lucky strike; sadly I can't because of that stupid import problem.

so im wondering what snus i can try that is the most similar to lucky strike?

I can't really think of any tbh. Here's what I think's complimentary to LS, although not necessarily similar...

    PM1847
    Grov
    Ettan

I've never tried PM1847 or Grov, but Ettan has always had a "sweet" taste to me that LS never had. I'll try both of those though

Yeah I hate to say it, but you're not going to find anything "like" LS, just something that you like as much, if you're lucky. Didn't mean the pun. It's the smoky crap they add that's missing, but Grov is a great place to start for something equally distinct, and very slightly similar, though not at all the same.

Correct. Nothing. Believe me, I searched.

Still, give other snus a try. May not be the same. but in the end, I have at least fallen in like with what I am currently using

For what it's worth, this is what I like at the moment, and I love LS white:

General white: LS - smoke + lemon + pepper
                Grov white: LS - smoke
General sterk: LS - smoke + lemon + nicotine (slightly stronger)
02: LS - smoke + nuts + oblong shape (substantially stronger)

I think all of the above are better than LS original or LS Bold for unreflective chain-snusing, although 02 sometimes causes headaches if I use it at the same pace as the others!

I'd say get a roll of grovsnus and buy a bottle of snusx smoke flavor and mix a little with each can until you find the mix that is closest

This is what I use for my smoke flavour:

                    http://www.amazon.com/Wrights-natura...9414599&sr=8-3

Pure liquid smoke that hasn't been diluted or adulterated with other crap. 8)

I was just gonna suggest getting some liquid smoke if you find another snus you like but want that smokiness as well. Be careful when adding it, though. I'd try adding just a couple drops per can to see what you think- it's strong stuff. Maybe if you spread out some los on a baking sheet and tossed it in the oven at a high temp for a little while it'd develop that "toasted" flavor LS has. Good luck!

Headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, Fielder & Lundgren is probably the oldest snus manufacturing name in Sweden. Started as a company in 1835, F & L's history has been full of name changes but one thing that has stayed consistent thru out it's 175 year existence, is it's commitment to producing quality Swedish snus.

Even though the company was started in 1835, it was Samuel Fielder who applied for permission to manufacture snus in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1785. Today, Fielder & Lundgren produces
