Anyone from San Diego?

So the missus is probably going to San Diego in March. Is there anywhere you can by snus in that town or is ordering off the net and ship it to the hotel the best bet?

Best idea: take however much you need for the duration of your stay

Back-up: Go to the General site to see where in SD General is sold. Locations will be cigar/tobacco shops, and no General ES portions or lös, no Onyx... in the USA select vendors sell General portions original and white, mini mint, wintergreen... like I said bring your normal snus with you, no problems bringing it into the US.

Ooh, no. Maybe I was a bit vague. She's going, and I want her to buy some and take back to Canada. The whole ordering to the hotel was just 'couse you dont pay tax so it might be a good idea. Am I making sense?

Be prepared to buy it at a specialty tobacco shop and pay about $7.00 a can for General. I am not sure about San Diego but at least here, General, Camel-Toe or Marlboro is about what you will be limited to. I have also seen some stuff like Nordic Ice but I really don't even consider that snus.

I have also seen some stuff like Nordic Ice but I really don't even consider that snus.

Last time i went to my cigar store they sold "american" General Los. So they might have it if you are looking

The swedish match website has a store locator. I think you can do it by zip code... or state. I don't remember, but you can see where the store is, get their number and make sure they will have some in stock when you get there.

This is so freakin simple. Don't buy it locally, you will have to pay California's outrageous taxes. Just do a huge order through one of the Swedish companies and have it delivered to the hotel. You will save at least 50% doing it that way.

Buying local /may/ be better than shipping to Canada, but not by much. Order online, and get it delivered. What limit has been determined; $200? I'd buy that much....

Andy, I live in San Diego. I would suggest ordering from Northerner US. With them you will be able to select USPS which is 2-3 day delivery.
If you were to order from Getsnus, anything 2 rolls or more would be sent UPS and that would take a week to arrive here.
Clubsnus is in San Fran so you would pay crazy CA taxes.
I have never purchased snus in shops here, but like the others have said, it's definatly a lot more expensive.
