Oh, the joy of the market. I love snus, and you love snus, but I'm sorry. There's no market in the world as brutally honest and cruel about the viability of a product than the king of markets, the US of A. If snus hasn't caught on here, it probably never will. No skin off my back if I can get it shipped. Absolute worst case, I can have a friend ship me a box of "truck parts" like I already do with some other items. The "nanny state" mentality isn't nearly as bad in the USA as it is in say great britain, evinced by the fact that it's so easy to get around it.

That's another function of the free market. The people will find a way to get what they want. If by some miracle the demand for swedish style snus rose dramatically (brad pitt plays a snus using time traveller with a pet lebouff in a movie) almost immediately someone(s) would rise to satisfy that market domestically. That's what makes this country so great.

They are not even listed yet on the companies website as available products. But once they become available, I would expect we should see it all over as company already has major distribution set up for their cigarettes. You can see all the retailers they have on their website.

              Looking for ASAP....

ASAP is apparently available in a "limited number" of test markets; none of which Cheyenne will identify. If anyone comes across ASAP snus in a mystery test market, I would really like two cans each of Natural and Wintergreen. Cash or barter; your choice.

I'm also trying to obtain 3 cans each of Camel Robust and Camel Winterchill (God help me). They only seem to be available at military bases right now. Same deal as above: cash or barter; your choice.

PM or email me if you can help.

              Thanks in advance,

              Larry

That's why I tried them. I wanted to write a review and see how they were.

I still don't understand people's fascination with the new Camel "SNUS". It's weird. The reviews of those 2 are two of the most highly read articles on my website, and I have like 90+ pages of content and other reviews.

It's also the most Googled term(s) that leads people to my website.

                  camel snus
                  camel frost
                  camel mellow
                  new camel snus
                  new camel robust
                  camel winterchill
                  new camel winterchill

These are always in the top of the list. It's nuts.

its easy to understand. For most of us Americans, its the 1st exposure to snus. We see the Camel stuff in the tobacco shops, and wonder what it is. I saw this stuff everyday for about a month before I gave in and bought 2 cans. Then I went and looked up snus, and that led me here. I think thats the way it is for most of us, hence the interest in Camel.

Those are some very 1970's looking cans.

                                bump

I wonder if this is still in the works. They do have a booth @ IPCPR 78th Annual Convention and International Trade Show, August 9 - 13, 2010 http://rtda.org/tradeshowexhibitors.html
They already have a lot of products so having a booth a the trade show means nothing when it comes to snus. http://www.cheyenneintl.com/products/
