Granted, I'm new to los and have only tried a few so far, but, DAMN!
Ettan is blowin' my mind its so good. I didn't know what I was missing all those months with portions. Grov is good, General is good, but this Ettan is like crack rock.

I bought 30 cans to get the icetool and originally regreted the decison big time because of the finer grind and constant sliding problem I was having in the begining.
Now, I use one and a half clicks instead of two or if I do use two clicks, I just have to push the snus back up more often.
I haven't tried all los yet, but Ettan is 1 and General is 1a.
I still don't know whether or not this is referring to me again me but if it is - can people read?
Ettan translates from swedish into english meaning 'The One'
this is why its number 1.
Also ettan is probably the oldest brand of snus in the world around 1820 . It was the first snus that was made with high quality tobacco prior to this snus had been made with 3rd grade tobacco.
The recipe has remained pretty much unchanged for all this time. And i find its pure earthy tobacco taste just devine.
Having just gotten into los i haven't had Ettan yet. I do like the portions, they are a go to anytime for me.
I'm waiting on an order right now, the getsnus los sampler. I almost added a can of Ettan los to that one but held off, kinda hoping i might get one as bonus can (long shot i know but i can hope). If not then my next order will definitely have one.
I've been lovin' the Ettan lös lately. I never had it much, but I started getting it often through trades. It really grew on me, and I bought a roll not too long ago. I currently use it more than anything. I wouldn't call it my favorite, but it's really been hitting the spot lately.
I got most of mine through trades as well. It was one of the first cans I ordered: General lös, op, wp from one place, and Ettan lös/op/wp from another place. It's a great go-to when the mood for it strikes. As you say, it's great with coffee, as is Grov. (I have decided that I like General pretty well with coffee, too. But that's just me. I seem to like General extremely.)
Back to Ettan, I also have some of the portions, and atm mostly prefer the OPs. They make for a good nite-nite snus (as do the Grovs). Funny, I snus a lot of snusii, but at the end of the day I guess I wind up close to where I started.
I might be snusing ES Kanel in the morning, but a typical day will be Ettan or Grov lös with coffee. I might or might not have a "warm up" portion first, which could be most anything, but likely some kind of General or Ettan or Grov, probably not licorice or anything minty.
The rest of the day is probably some variant of General every other snus, with something else, maybe two or three things, interleaved. I like an LD Black most afternoons, almost always Röda Lacket in the evening. If it's possible, I like a lös session where I might try to cram in a few different varieties. Days are different, though; sometimes it's portions all day.
Blah blah. Uh... and then I like an Ettan or a Grov OP right before bed time. Most of the time.
Update: I'm back. Need to end this on the right footing. Nice pris of Ettan in now, coffee's on the way; it's a chilly night, about to reach for the High Dry Toast. Ahh.
OH GOT MY WOMAN JUST WANTED TO KNEAD ALL OVER MY GRILL AND I SAID GTFO HO AND SLAPPED HER WITH A CAN OF #1 AKA ETTAN. It left the ettan crest on her face and I said GTFO YOUR NOT NUMBER 1 ETTAN IS
I don't expect everyone to read my encylopedia entry of a post, but I'd definitely appreciate some suggestions on what to order next. I've been lurking...
I began using snus in October of 2012 and gave up cigarettes in a month. I thought that my taste memory might be lacking as I prepared to order Swedish...
