    swedish camel snus info

today i saw a can of swedish camel snus (not the one they sell in US) in the store, couldn't help myself so i had to buy it (the ashtrey lid was supercool, it was shiny 8) ), had never heard of it before today

i'm wondering if anyone has any basic info on this? is it strong/regular, flavor etc? I haven't tried one yet

It's regular, non citrus flavor. Similar to Lucky Strike, but not as good imo.

Bergamot without the smoke flavor, maybe a hint of lemon?

I don't remember any citrus, but I only had 1 tin, and that was when it first came out.

i've had two portions now. the flavor is EXACTLY like lucky strike original imo. Makes me wonder if some manufacturer is just branding the same snus with known smoking brands in an attempt to sell more?

They're different makers. Lucky Strike is from BAT(F&L), and Camel is from JTI(formerly Gallaher House).

I've had a few cans of each.

Lucky Strike is Bergamot, Smoke Flavoring, and a touch of Salmiak

Camel doesn't have any smoke flavoring in it. It's bergamot + ?

I can't find it right now but somewhere I read the EU requires listing smoke flavor on the ingredient label when it's used. You'll find it on LS but not on Camel.
