Do we need a News and Blog category?

I've been thinking about this for a while. There's been a lot of snus articles in the mainstream media lately (PACT, PMI/SM, NYC Ban, etc.), and I wonder if we should create a category for Snus in the News.

We also have at least two snus bloggers that post here frequently, and there are a few more out there. Maybe we could combine Snus News and Blogs into one new category for posting links to news articles and blog articles.

Or maybe something else...

What do you think?

I think it's a good idea. Some members don't want to talk about things like the PACT ACT, but a lot of others do, this way it can be filtered.

It sounds like a pretty good idea to me. I'd call it Snus News and Editorials, or something like that. It would give a spot for snus exclusively(as opposed to the world sub forum), and allow space for more fleshed out articles so they don't get lost in the noise of the generic Snus sub forum.

It would be a good place to post reviews as well. A lot of topics get lost in snus and snus accessories.

That sounds good to me. I'd also like Nasal snuff to have it's own sub-forum. It's really hard to find reviews of specific snuffs in the sticky. The box passes got one!

Interesting thought. Has anyone thought of turning the front page into a blog type page? There are many of us that would love to contribute on a more than a posting basis. Throw some adverts on the front and while it would be like many other pages, we have something that the others don't, our wonderful mix of characters

Anything would be nice. I think there could be enough info for three stickies; making snus, flavoring snus, portioning snus. But lots of stickies get messy.
