Like the poster, I truly miss the flavor of Lucky Strike. However, I have moved on. There are times in life when you lose your loved ones. You will find a replacement someday. Aim toward snus that has a smokey flavor.

          BatRastard,

First, welcome to the forum mate. Second, to answer your question.....let me just say, you're going to fit in just fine here.

Late to the party I see.

BatRastard, I don't think you are nuts, I don't see any problem with that. If you have money. If you think it is value to you. Go for it. Who gives a fu** what anyone else thinks. Snus. It is only about you. What you like, what you want to use, what you think is fair to pay for what you are getting.

My ex and I fell in love with St. Barts. Went three times. Cost at least $5000 each time. Crazy?? Of course. Could we have traveled elsewhere fabulous for much less?? of course. But we liked St. Barts. It was worth it to us. And no hella other person has a right to ever say a word to me about it.

So no, if this is what you want, I don't think you are crazy at all.

I don't think your nuts, if you have the money you can do whatever you want. But me personally I'd think I was nuts if I did that. As much as I love LS's as well I don't venture off the beaten path like most on this site do, I just use Ettan and Grov now!

HOW THE HELL can you spend that much money on snus when there are kids in china going to bed snusless tonight. If you have that kinda money you should just get some OffRoad and send what you saved to the poos kids in china..........or me.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I think all of us at SnusOn should dig into our pockets and give Offroad to the less fortunate. Even though Offroad isn't considered snus, I'm sure the impoverished will appreciate it.

Oh Hey ... hold on folks ... A MOMENT OF LUCIDITY strikes!

Has anyone tried making their own snus?

How hard can it be? Buy some leaf, throw it in the toaster or microwave or
whatever, add secret sauce and cuisinart away! Really, how hard can it be?
We could even come up with are own flavors:

                      Lucky Strike a Match
"Full well-rounded tobacco flavor, toasted to perfection with overtones of green chili."

                      Way Offroad
Rough ground tobacco nicely pebbled for texture with hints of possum, squirrel, and skunk. (seasonal varieties dependant)

                      You're all wrong ... I'm not insane, I'm inspired!

                      Bat

Don’t listen to them BR, you ARE crazy as hell….. no, I take that back…..crazy as this guy I met once in St Barts…..looked kind of like an Andy Warhol gone terribly wrong…or this other feller who kept handing out cheep ass coffee snus to all the folks down at the Chinese restaurant….or this other dude who kept trying to verify my nuts….or this one guy who followed his unicorn off the edge of the planet never to be seen again….crazy as all that and more

Regardless, don’t let anyone take from you what you have rightfully and proudly earned.

….cause you know that’s what all the guys over at Swedish Match are doing….. In fact I understand the entire plant is just one big break room…..you know…fridge full of tobacco leaves… BIG ASS MICROWAVE ….bottle of hot sauce that somebody left on the counter over by the coffee….guy from accounting that always seems to be in there….

                          Nooo bat you’re just fine….

Maybe it would be possible to petition the makers of Lucky Strike snus to change the name, to Lucky or something, making them know they have a large user base in the US that still wants the snus, or they could do a Phantom/Rothbrix solution?

For some reason, Phantom that is sold in the US, had to change it's name, so it's called Rothbrix. I know one can buy Phantom from Sweden to the US, so it's not exactly the same situation, but it is similar, that a company had to change the snus name for in US sales.
