Thanks Tom. Did not know that. Seems a simple enough solution unless there are other factors involved. A lucky fan needs to post the email address and have folks here pound the company to make such a change.

I know I'd be glad to shoot em an email for the cause and I think others here would be glad to do the same even if they don't use Lucy on a regular basis.

Besides, all this talk has made me want to try some.

Maybe it would be possible to petition the makers of Lucky Strike snus to change the name, to Lucky or something, making them know they have a large user base in the US that still wants the snus, or they could do a Phantom/Rothbrix solution?

I like that idea.

BAT already has different Lucky Strike formulations for the South African market, so it's not like they will not tailor their product.

My suggestion. Use the name.

If you spend the $650 to fly to Sweden, just by loads of Lucky Strike, then bring it back and sell it to us at inflated prices. You'll make your money back in no time. Pack 'em in a kayak or something.

Yes, that would be "doable". F&L Export would be fine. Camel(Sw) could do it too. But, maybe, money is the driving force. If they have/had. would have, enough of a US market to make a difference, then they might do this.

JUST GOT BACK FROM SWEDEN!!!!!

WOOOOHOOOOO! SCORE OF THE CENTURY!

Just flew to Sweden and back and scored 2 ROLLS OF LUCKIES!!!!!

Got the ticket price down to 549.00 through priceline and said what
the hell!

Went off like a commando raid ... flew in, and was met at the airport by
fellow snuson maniac chossy. He zipped me over to his local snus
shop and then to his favorite pub for a couple of pints. We got back
to the airport with little time to spare.

The ride back home on the motorcycle was a bear with the jetlag and all
but I made it with the precious cargo intact.

Don't believe me? I've got the receipt to prove it! Man, I am happier than
a pig in feces!

Nah, I don't think you're crazy. Lucky Strike is pretty good snus, and it's complete political corporate bulls--t that we can't get it in the US any longer.

But it's not so good that I'd pay 150 bucks for 20 cans of it. That would buy me enough snus to last at least 4 months, maybe closer to 5 or 6 depending
