Taboca snus/Cuban Tobacco

Having once worked with Taboca, I know for a fact that the Cuban component exists ONLY in the R&J and MC Cuban licensed products.

"Taboca" branded products are blended without Cuban tobacco as that tobacco imparts specific flavor characteristics which make the cigar brands unique, and allows Taboca snus to compete in the traditional 'bergamot' segment.

Ironically, Taboca lurks on this site once in a while, and every time someone mentions a snus site which will deliver the Cubans to the US, they must try to stop it.

Interesting! I guess I am among the worst offenders then... I usually jump in with my suggestion of www.snuskau... er, um, nevermind. Don't want to jeopardize my ability to score some MC and R&J. I really dig it. Hopefully we will stop being such assholes to the Cuban economy and its hard-working people and it will become a non-issue.

Me doesn't understand why anyone would want Cuban tobacco in snus anyway. Without the long fermentation and aging there's no chance it will taste anything like a Cuban cigar. Why do you think Montecristo snus covers up the flavor with so much bergmot essence?
