Are mistresses permissible? I mean, if I married a brand, that brand wouldn't necessarily be faithful to me... unless I made my own snus... and now I don't want to follow the metaphor.
I've been sampling different kinds, but I'll probably buy a single kind in bulk my next time around, just to make things cheaper. (Mistresses are expensive, I suppose.) But then the next time I make a purchase, who knows.
Not a chance! I couldn't settle down with one snus. There are too many good ones. I might be able to narrow it down to 5 or 6. I guess commitment just ain't for me.
No, i'm more of a SnusSlut, commitment ain't for me either.
Some would even say im Loose
My favorite of the 11 I received in my first order is the General White Mini-portions. I desperately want to order a roll and do just it for awhile, but I am afraid to do it because I have seen so many posts discussing how if you use the same one it will eventually turn on you.
I am married to both Grov and Roda.. they are cool with it. Sometimes I fool around with the Gotlandssnus triplets, but when I order its always Roda/Grov.
I say play the field, why marry it when it still gives you what you want, what you neeeeed. Besides, after you marry it, it'll just complain about when you may want to have a smoke, or sample another flavor of snus. What if you marry it and then one morning you wake up and, just don't have the same feelings you once had for each other, maybe it tastes funny now.
There are too many flavors out there to settle down, I say hit em and quit em. They'll still love you when you come back to them
I seem to be naturally moving in this direction already. GES and Phantom Blue would probably be all I would need and, in fact, already constitute 90% of snus I am consuming. There are other snus I also like and even have rolls of in the freezer. It is just not very often I want my fifth favorite snus unless I am forcing myself to use it up.
If I had to, and I was allowed a portion wife and a wife that was loose (like throwing a hotdog down a hallway), I guess I would go Grov portions and Skruf Los. But that would make me very sad. Like chopping down the whole forest to admire the beauty of one tree. Not gonna happen. Hell, I haven't even ordered a roll yet after a year of snusing.
I've noticed an oddity in that I keep 2 snuses on hand and alternate 2-1 portions. for example, it used to be 2 ettans to 1 grov portion when I started and now it's 2 LD blacks and 1 lucky strike. It gets mixed up a little but the total amount consumed is about that
I've got myself hitched to Ettan loose and Knox portion. I use other brands here and there for a little variety, but those two are my primaries; the brands I order in rolls. Everything else that I like is just a one or two can occasional thing, except for Grov and Gotlands Yellow loose. I get five cans of each when I order them.
To summarize:
Married to: Ettan loose and Knox portion
Occasional mistresses: Grov loose and Gotlands Yellow loose
Bah! Marriage to anything, snus brand or woman=lack of variety. You guys who think you've found "your brand" will wander. I had a steady thing going with Roda Lacket and her stronger sister Claq Qui, but I'm a man dammit, and men need variety!
I'd be a bit of a bigamist as I thoroughly enjoy Gotesburg Rape and Catch Eucalyptus. However LD Black sneaks its way into my heart sometimes, and at work I gotta have a good los, be it Ettan, Roda, or Skruf Stark.
[quote="Sugarman"]Has anyone found 1 snus that they use exclusively, forsaking all others as curiosities? I know a guy who snusses and whenever I ask him what he's snussing it's always Catch Eucalyptus. It's all he orders. I'm a little jealous. Life seems so simple to him.
After 8 months in I feel like I sampled 90% of whats available and I just want to settle down with 1 snus and start a long term relationship. Is it possible? Or will my eyes wander. When I switched from coffee to tea I landed on Earl Grey and it's all I care to drink. I want my snus to be the same.
I'm considering LD white as my main. Post if you found your true love and order it exclusively.[/quote
TWO WORDS! Phantom blue mixes with earl grey like cigarettes and coffee. Perfectly!
Hi all. I'm a long-time nasal snuff user, recently converted to snus. When I first got into nasal snuff I tried all kinds of types and flavours, but finally...
