After-Taste Lip...

After finding General in my local tobacco shop, I decided to get back into Snus again. I originally drifted away from it for two reasons:

1) The nic hit would knock me off my feet.
2) The after-taste under the lip after removing the snus tasted HORRIBLE.

Number one has been fixed since I picked up cigarettes (oops).
However, what I dub the "after-taste lip" still stays.
The only snus I have had that didn't leave this taste was the Camel Mellow (which I actually like, much to the probably shock of some of you :P)
I bought the General Dry Ice Mint, which was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS, but the after-taste lip is like dentist's toothpaste.

Are there any snusses that don't leave a bad taste?
It's sort of what's keeping me away from trying loes snus.

I think all snus leaves some kind of flavor. Quit putting your tongue in your lip :^P

I do know what you are talking about, if I put my togue up there (in my lip :lol: ) It does taste kindof nasty, so I don't do it and everything is good. If you rinse your mouth out it will also get rid of it.

The only aftertaste I get is usually salty, but I do notice a different texture for lack of a better word to describe it...

Use gum afterwards that may help. Or drink something.

I'm amazed that you don't get any kind of aftertaste from Camel snus.....that shit leaves such a bad taste in my mouth after I spit it out that it's almost like I just got through drinking 10 Diet Cokes.

The only snus I can think of that leaves a lasting aftertaste for me is Gotlands...

What is this after taste that ya'll speak of? The only after taste I know of is the taste of the new pris I put in right AFTER I take the old one out.

With cigars we referred to this as having a long finish.
Taste lingered for a while it had a long finish. No taste left after you finished it, short finish. If a rotten taste was left but it was good tasting while smoking, then you smoked it down to far and got a lot of built up tar in your mouth.
If your getting a bad leftover taste I wonder if you are just leaving them in to long?

I'm not big into flavored snuses. I do enjoy the after taste I get after removing a pris. It's fun to round up the bits with my tongue
