    Snus Shui?

Yeah, I ran into the same problem.
In design, I honestly think that N&J were on to something with the case shape. Their whole ad campaign was based around "a snus for people who cannot associate with the old image of snus", or something to that affect. I think that the rectangular case was trying to get away from the "Hillbilly image" of having a round can in your pocket. While I have no idea how valid that is in Sweden (doesn't almost every nicotine user in the country use snus?), I think the N&J case was before its time for the USA. Camel snus has already done away with the round "dip can" look for their US snus, obviously trying to distance itself from having any connection with American dip. The N&J can was designed to appear as a cell phone in someone's pocket instead of a snus can (or a dip can for US users), and I think that could have done quite well here given the chance.

In function, I had some minor problems with the case. I am not sure why or how, but I always had at least 4 portions per pack that were squished into the corners of the rectangular carton. These portions would have to be pulled out and worked with my hands to get them back into a shape to put under my lip. It was a small annoyance, but one that can only be attributed to the carton shape, since a regular snus can has no corners to be smushed into.

I'll probably order a half-roll of the West Before it's discontinued. I really liked it, because I prefer stronger snus and white portions, but my beloved Skruf Stark White fills that niche. Still, I'd like a few more cans before it's gone forever.

Is it really a 'roll' when the cans are rectangular?
