I wonder if Camel Snus uses sugar or some other sweetener, because it stays sweet four hours. I don't mind it at all. It was a lifesaver this past weekend when I flew to DC and forgot my snus supply. Thank heaven for 7-11. I typically don't notice the effects of nicotine when using snus, but if I don't for several hours then the withdrawal effects start to build.
I don't think that Camel Snus is bad it's just not strong enough. It is a bit sweet but I think that is because it is targeted for the US. If it was stronger i'd use it more often. These days I usually only have it when someone asks for one and I decide to have one with them or I want something sweet and I don't want candy. Sometimes I wonder if there is any nic in there at all!
I quit smoking on the Camel snus. I like the way that it is flavored, to me it is like a candy treat with a little nicotine boost. I really enjoy the frost and the spice flavors and can easily use them around non-smokers without them knowing a thing. I also enjoy chewing gum while snussing, and that covers it up even more. I recently ordered the OOMPH snus from Northerner and these are even more discreet and have very little smell especially if I have some gum or hard candy with them. I keep a tin with both Camel and OOMPH on me. It gives me a little variety. The OOmph is stronger, especially the energy kind. A real pick-me-up. I live in chicago and have not seen the citrus flavor Camel yet, but look forward to trying it soon.
No more smoke smell and quite satisfied, even on the airplane.
