A lot of people have been knocking the Camel Snus. ...and I'll go ahead and agree with the fact that it doesn't taste, or perform (nicotine wise) near as satisfactory as the Swedish snus.
but...
There area few reasons I really like the Camel Snus and I just wanted to throw them out there.
My reason for converting to Snus was purely functional.
I work in an environment where using tobacco and/or smelling like tabacco is very frowned upon.
Due to the size and shape, the camel pouches can go unnoticed by others when in your lip. In sweden it may not be unusual to see a lump in someones lip, but around these parts people aren't too keen on it... also Im trying to be stealthy here...
Also people often tell me I smell like cat urine after having used Swedish snus. I kind of agree... I have two cats and the smell is (to me) reminiscent of cat spray. If multiple unrelated people have told me this, it can't be that far fetched right?
The camel snus has none of this smell... and actually smells much like gum. Plus in my book.
Lastly... I think the frost flavor has an amazingly excellent taste when mixed with coffee. Almost reminds me of warm mint n chip ice cream.
On a daily basis I prefer general or the ole rape. But... at work I keep the camel snus around.
I think if the flavoring wasnt so ridiculously strong, I would use it outside of work as well... (because of the ease of obtaining it in the US)
Anyway... Just wanted to give my two cents... it's not fantastic... but it has it's uses!
