It's a perfect explanation.Thank you Darwin.I can't get any sort of snus in my country but I've allready ordered and got from Germany and Sweden. There was a few sorts of snus in tobacco shops in my country for a short period between 2007. and 2009. and then the new low has come and it has stopped. The first time I tryed snus was in 2007. and I didn't know anything about snus but was very interested in tasting.I bought then General in portion and loos.As I mentioned before I used to put loos in paper of a tea bags and then bellow the lip. However as I enjoyed portion or loos I had been spitting all the time.So it hadn' t been really enjoyment. Now I know you don't have to spit at all.I made a great progress, this morning I shape again loos on my palm and put it in the mouth, keep it for an hour and never spit even once.

I would add that white/black portions differs in nic/taste/drip distribution in time which is generally "smoother" for white .

Regular portions (wetter and darker) usually have a stronger taste and will make more juice. White portions (drier and lighter) usually have a milder taste and will make less juice.

I don't know what could pouches protect You from.

...well, sometimes if Los is really coarse-grinded it can hurt Your gums a little, just like chips or twiglets.
Thank you HuvKur. Now I understand the difference between white and other portion in appereance. Is there any difference in taste and strenght?
Otherwise I 've been so proud of myself this morning because I tried my first loos.I open the portion and get out the snus from inside, shape it and put bellow my upper lip and keep it there for an hour. Before I thought it would dissolve and go to nothing but it didn't happend. The loos stayed solid in the mouth for an hour so I realised how possible is to enjoy loos whithout depending of pouches. My nicotine tolerance also increase because I used my Oliver Twist pellets like a maniac these days: Ikeep it first bellow upper lip for about a half of an hour and then start to chew it, I swallow every drip though I believe it's not good for health and specially stomach but I can't help myself.I simpy like the taste...

What is exactly the white portion? Why is "white"?
Does pouches which envelope snus significatly protect gums and teeth in difference to just loos?

lol mino, I used to use American smokeless a lot until I found the wonders of snus. It is an inconvenience when you're out and about and constantly have to spit, that's why I like snus. I can enjoy without having to spit all the time. I will occasional dip when i'm at work, but anymore it's 98% snus use for me. If you got any more questions don't hesitate to ask.

I hope I'm not too boring and I hope this thread would help to the other newbies in way it helped me a lot.
When I think about really chewing american tobacco for example I realize how huge inconvinient is the fact one has to spit all the time while chewing. I can understand why women hate the phenomena.

I move snus around my mouth when I use portions, but do not when I use loose snus. Seems I make too much of a mess in my mouth when I do that. If you use loose, the best way is to agitate the snus with your tongue.

Thank you very much. It's perfectly clear and useful information to me. It sounds pretty enjoyable to consume loos snus in that way.I suppose when you made a solid pris then it's durable in the mouth, maybe like portion. When you mentioned cylinder shape it had reminded me of the pellets of Danish Oliver Twist tobacco which I liked it very much. In difference that Oliver Twist pellets is made of the tracks of tobbaco leaves and then rolled in pellets in cylinder shape.I must try loos snus again and correctly.Have someone a good link of a ice tool?
